The battery amp rating required depends on how low is the resistance of your build.
The highest rated 18650 batteries are LG HB2, HB4, HB6, all with 1500 mAh capacity and 30A amp rating.
I would be smart of you to learn about battery safety, ohm's law and get an ohm meter, before starting to use a mech.

Usually i keep resistence at 0.3, but i have MXJO 3000 mAh, 35A, is it good?
Your battery is in fact a 15-20A battery.
At 0.3 ohm you are pushing around 14A, which is close to your limit.
Personally I wouldn't use any rewraps, especially not in a mech.

If you live in the US liionwholesale is a good source for quality batteries at good prices.
You want at a minimum a legitimate 20A battery such as the Samsung 25R5. LG HD2C is another good choice and any in the LG HB series, but with higher current capability comes lower mAh.

LG HG2 , brown LG...strong 20A battery that is 3000Mah. It is inside the limit of you built (.3 ohm) and it will give you a good runtime. I run em as low as 0.1 without battery getting hot. They are safe as they could be as well, shorted two of them by unscrewing rda from the mod and 510 came off with rda. They got very hot, but didn't swell,went or explode.
I am sold on LG HG2 since then.
Most of the people here dislike MXJO but I have nothing bad to say about em. These were my first batteries, never went with Effest. MXJO are 20 amp batteries 3000 Mah with very long life span.
There is no point in buying MXJO because LG is cheaper and with proven quality batch to batch. You know what you have with LG , not so much with MXJO. I hope that your Roundhouse is authentic, it is a killer mod that will last you a long time

it is like buying a 35 pack of beer and finding only 15-20 cans in the box...except the beer wont vent if you expect the label to be correct

Who ever did research should know that. There is few kind people around forums that have done plenty of testing and posted the results for us to read.
When I buy new shotgun dealer doesn't provide me with a free gun safety class. I wouldn't recommend buying a batteries because they have shiny labels and cool stickers, or getting married to a stripper because she looks sooo good. These mistakes can cost a lots of money, but there is nothin wrong with natural selection.

Biggest problem with that is only a small % of the people that vape read these forums or the few others and only a fraction of those people actually do research

Just about anything labeled that we use has either false info or no info. How about vaccinations?... Everything that contains corn syrup?... Just about everything that's labeled will bring you some kind of harm in long term. But that has nothing to do with original question in this post. If you wanna talk about that you can message me so we don't occupie his space.
