Best battery?

Bought a
2016 Subox Nano Starter Kit 50W Subtank on sale on ebay without the battery. I have been using pens. What is a recommended battery to use?

These are all highly recommended choices.. Don't use anything with "fire" in the name. And make sure it's a minimum continuous 20Amp.
Sony VTC 4 or 5 (green)
Samsung 25R (green)
LG HE2(Red) or 4(yellow) or HG2 (brown)

I have all of these and they are all great batteries. But if I had to choose one it would be the HG2. Couple bucks more but longer battery life between charges. Can't go wrong with any of the listed batteries though.

the batteries that were listed above are fantastic in my opinion as well.. Sharkly just so you know they are 18650 Batteries.. relates to its size like AA Vs AAA.. the most popular now a days are 18650 , 18490, and 18350. Hope this helps

Both good batteries but lot of fakes out there.

I have never bought batteries from ebay, but have heard it is a good place to get counterfeit batteries.

Can get them for about the same price from illumn or liionwholesale. And be genuine batteries.

Please do take a little time for reading the links referenced in the reference section. You do not need to read all the blog entries. Once you understand the basics more so, I think you'll do well. The first entry in the reference section discusses 18650 batteries you may likely use. We're all trying to be super helpful regarding batteries, it's real important.
