Howdy Vaperino's!

Quick question here guys... i am going to buy some 25mL tanks ( Griff 25,Boreas,KT sub tank Plus) for my 'out and about' daily vape machine.. (currently have KT sub tank mini on leaf istick 40w tc)

What i love is that the 22ml KT sub tank sits flush on the stick 40w mod and has no overhang on the sides... it is a real clean piece of hardware... but i am looking for an upgrade ...

I am only going to run 20-30w with 26g kanthal on the 25ml... leaving the big boss 200w with big builds at home lol..
What i am trying to say is that i am looking for a anything between 50-100 watt reg box (Preferably with a centered 510 thread) to fit a 25ml tank.... nice, flush and discreet (nothing bulbous and chunky) to replace 'old faithful'

i prefer centred 510 (because interchangeable size tanks etc don't effect it overhang wise) but anything that sits a 25ml tank with no overhang.. centred or non centred

I was looking at istick 60w TC (centred pin... with interchangeable coloured doors and removable 18650)
But i have heard from sources that there is a 1-1.5mm gap between tank and mod box)..

I am asking anyone of you lovely people in the VU if they have any suggestions, recommendations or advice they could share before i purchase anything.

Thank you for reading listening... :)

I've been using rx200, ipv5 and Renegade X with my 25mm RTAs. Now, if you have a gap between the tank and mod at the 510, you can use nylon washers to fill that. They also protect your mod from scratches.

My ST Plus fits on my Reuleaux, Hohm Wrecker G2, Ipv5, Coolfire IV, and VT133 with no over hang.

WOW roxynoodle of boreas Fame!!! I'm starstruck lol Thank you so much for replying... i am actually waiting on my boreas in the mail ... first 25ml i bought! (I'm serious and I'm being a kiss ass hahahah :) ) Great work nonetheless... looked at aromarizer, billow v3,griffin and herakles 25's etc... but settled with the boraes ..i love the clean.. straight look of the boreas.. and it comes with 2 build decks!! WIN WIN!! hahaha

The Rx200 and rx 200s are a bit on the chunky side... lots of girth...
i will have a look at what this ipv5 ( is that a cool fire? not to sure..) and renegade X are... as i am here to research suggestions and advice...
But the Rx200 is definitely not pocket friendly... unless you want the swollen or tumerous thigh look lol..

I really appreciate your input... you're a champion! Thanks roxy :)

Got to look into these devices you speak of :) you walk around with reuleaux in your pocket? Im looking for a more 'smallish' on the go box.. you know?? Though i have heard that the rx200 is on kick ass tried and true box... as for the other boxes you wrote of... i have written down and about to research... Cheers deucesjack! :)

Sometimes being a woman is good since my mods go into a purse instead of a pocket :)

The ipv5 is slim, but it is heavy. Vape Royalty has them on clearance for $42. I do really like this mod though.

ecig.com has the Hohm Wrecker and VT133 on clearance. The Hohm Wrecker is aluminum and much lighter than the ipv5.

Nah man the Reuleaux is my ultimate all day mod but it's not pocket friendly. My most pocket friendly mod is my VF Classic but it will not fit the ST Plus without any over hang. The Coolfire is real nice and pocketable but some atty's have gaps on it. Can't say enough about that Aethon chip in the Coolfire TC. DNA smooth. The VT133 is a nice compromise between a Reuleaux and a Lipo DNA. It's my travelling DNA for sure. The IPV6 is a great mod with a great chip but it's kind of tall and not as pocketable as the Vt133. Just my humble opinion.

Ecig.com also has the Ipv5 on sale for $38 but I think only in silver.

Stay away from the 213. All kinds of tcr problems. Plus it has not been confirmed to be upgradeable which for me is a deal breaker. If you like that mod wait for the ipv6. Very similar looking with a better chip.

I love the look of the 213, but owners are reporting all kinds of problems, so I'm avoiding it at this time. TC problems, autofires. I'm disappointed because it's a looker.

Deucesjack just informed me of the issues surrounding the 213... and like you said... doesn't it look the part! carbon fiber/ gun metal gray looks swanky as!!

The upradeability has been questioned several times and Sigelei has yet to address it.

I use a Cuboid for my carry around mod with a sleeve on it, i only use a 22mm Simba on it but from the looks of it a 25mm tank will have a tiny bit of overhang on 1 side, it still won't overhang my sleeve so it won't be noticeable.

There seems to be a love or hate relationship for most people with the Cuboid, I haven't had any issues whatsoever using it at work every day for a while now. I love the shit outta mine and i even bought the little bastard used.

I bought two Cuboids a few days ago, no problems to report and very pocket friendly.

Friend of mine bought the 213....we were driving on I-10 toward LA, he starts cussing, rolls down the window and I see the 213 bouncing off the road in back of me. I guess it wasn't his cup-o-tea.

My favorite part of having the Cuboid & RX200 is customizing my firmware. I added a lovely Super Midget logo to both which i decided last night will double as additional security if someone tries to swipe em.

What did it do to merit that?

Cuboids a nice mod. I have one but its a heavy lil fokker.

I started with a 75w Kbox Mini before moving to my Cuboid and RX200. My wife still uses her kbox mini with a tiny little Innokin iSub V. I picked it up today for the first time in a week and almost tossed it clear over my shoulder on accident. I forgot how light it is now that i carry the Cuboid around all day.

Just like roxy said... What happened that caused such an demise?? Must have been something irreversible to say the least! in Australia .. thats a $120-130 mod!!! Not the cheapest!!

the RX200 on the right doesn't really leave the house much and has a top airflow 22mm Griffin, the Cuboid has a UD Simba that is very pocketable so i carry it to work and such. I would love to have a 25mm Griffin for the additional juice capacity but my vape budget is almost non existent right now unless i trade out a tank i don't use or one of my main tanks craps out.

We talking about the cuboid 150 right? Anybody own the 80w cuboid mini?? if so...share an opinion... and i must ask... what is the top part on it? looks like a square flashlight lens if i remember.... looks like a brutaliat stalin-era looking lighthouse lol

mine is a cuboid 150, on the 80w mini it is just the square included tank made in the same style as the mod itself to blend together.

Do you rate the top airflow on the 22? i have also the 22 griff... but couldn't be assed cruising down to my vape shop in sydney 2 hours away... and when i do ... i think i will just go all out and by the 25... 22 top airflow much different to the 25?
