I'm in the market for a new mod/tank and I seem to be the minority when it comes to vapers. I'm neither here nor there-I'm not strictly MTL, nor DTL. What I do is kind of somewhere in between that. I don't like the draw to be TOO tight like you see with a lot of the MTL Vape pens/e-cigs on the market; however I also don't like too much airflow either. I like to feel some resistance, like I'm pulling the smoke in through a regular straw (not a huge Boba straw, but not a tiny ass cocktail straw either). When I inhale, I inhale a little bit directly into my lungs, but I like to keep most of it in my mouth so that I can inhale it all at once and get a nice throat hit. To me, having that feeling on the back of my throat, as well as good FLAVOR is very important to me. Huge clouds are not as important to me, but I do still really enjoy blowing some small ones sometimes when the mood hits. I've been doing research for a few weeks and so far it seems that the best mod for me would be the Eleaf iStick Pico.
Now I'm just stuck on what would be the best tank to put on that for someone who chain-vapes all day, wants good flavor, and likes to alternate between MTL & DTL. There is a starter kit for the Pico which comes with a Melo 3, but I heard it's a bitch to change the coils and the tank gets stuck all the time. I've seen people recommend the Smok Baby Beast (but then I read that it goes through coils and juice like crazy if you're a chain vaper), the Aspire Nautilus, Cleito, & "Mini Serpent." It's also crucial that the tip doesn't get hot very easily as I will be chain-vaping.
At the moment I'm not trying to make my own coils or anything like that. I haven't been vaping for that long, and am a novice.
What do you guys suggest as far as tanks? Do you think I chose a good mod? And I'd love suggestions on which coils/ohms would work best for a chain-vaper that usually vapes all day at around 20 watts, without tasting burnt or draining the battery super quick. Thanks in advance.
