I hated the Melo 3.The 1 I had was as leaky as a sieve. It went bye-bye fast via garbage chute.
I can say that overall people have no issues using it, but I'm sure there are some productionerrors or something

Cuboid Mini 80W - Melo 3 Eleaf - ECL 0.18ohm

My opinion, best flavor subohm tank is the Freemax Starre Pure. Nothing close. Works well at fairly low wattages also. For rebuildables, I suggestion the og Sense RTA. That is the tops to me rebuildable wise.

Waiting on my Pure from 3fvape.com. Just hope it doesnt get lost in transit. Starre tanks are my favorites since the first. Anyone have a black one? if you do, how does the paint hold up?

I
just to be 100% fair i went to search the forum

clieto leaking http://vapingunderground.com/threads/cleito-leaking.296941/
issue was the guy lost an oring on his coil before installing. put a new coil in and no issues since. user error

super old bump thread but taste burnt http://vapingunderground.com/threads/aspire-cleito-atomizer-problems.205859/
issue coil lasted only 5 days. dependong on your juice and how much you vape thats pretty normal. i personally never get more then a week on any premade coils. lots of people in the thread talking about how they love theirs

same issue as above. coil life http://vapingunderground.com/threads/cleito-problem.296101/
still getting a week and loves his tank. expected 3-4 weeks per coil. no issue

So all three were user issues or unreal expectations. not an issue with the tank itself

I did see some people complain about vapor lock. personally I've never experienced it and had the tank for well over a year
I am the person who posted about the Cleito leaking and it was not a user issue thank you. There was no o ring missing as you said that isn't even stated in the thread. Selective reading anyone? Yes the leak problem was a bad coil. But once that was solved I started having problems with vapor lock. I have the same problem with every coil I have tried. You have to keep the tank loose to keep from getting dry hits. I would not recommend this tank to anyone. It is a very poor design.

Thanks for the input and clarification for sure. Sorry u had issues with the tank. No device will be 100% perfect though. It's pretty rare people have clieto issues

First off o want to apologize for if my post was a little rude. I had had a bad day and it bothers me if someone says that a design issue is something I'm doing. I have been Vaping for going on 3 years have 4 other tasks and never had problems like this. As for Cleito problems being rare... I'm sorry friend but they are not. The Internet I loaded with more horror stories about them than success stories. I also know a few other people personally that have the same issues as me. That being said from what I can tell with my research the Cleito 120 is a much better tank. Is that what you have? Because literally every person I know that has the Cleito has issues with it.

No need to apologize didn't think u were rude at all. As I said before no tank will be 100% never having an issue whether it's design wise or user error. I see issue threads on the tfv8, crown, crown 2, tfv4, bug baby beast, baby beast, etc. Pretty much every tank. I've had the clieto personally for 2 years or so, never a leak or vapor lock. The only cons I can think of is the top part gets hot when chain vaping and if u screw on the top too hard it might unscrew the coil with it. But that's only my personall experience I understand others may differ. I'm gonna stop recommending the clieto anyway since it's outdated and becoming obsolete and the baby beast exists now as a mid range tank.

And yes I'm positive it's not the 120 lol.

Just got my Starre pure and wow. Really liking it. I couldn't wait for my order from 3fvapes; international shipping sucks. I saw this at a local brick & mortar shop and jumped on it. Favor very good with dense vapes on "every" hit from the first. Every hit is cold at 50w and the juice drains slow but bumping it up increases the flavor but juice drains little faster.

I'll have to get a Crown. They are much-talked-about, so I want to see what it's all about.

First, though, will be a Smok Spirals tank. :p
Did you manage to pick up the Spirals yet? I'm going to get one soon. I'm just wondering which coils are the best for flavor, the 0.3 or the 0.6? I want to buy an extra box of coils when I pick up the tank, but I want to get the best ones I can.

would recommend the vaporesso target pro 75w, takes 0.9 or 0.5 ceramic coils which are the best coils ive ever used for flavour,i the 0.9 ohm ccell ceramics, the good thing with this tank is that you can also aspire triton, atlantis style coils which you could always try clapton if you wanted.i did buy a pack of 0.5 ohm ccell ceramics and they were all duds, so i stick with the 0.9s and i dont think you can beat them for flavour, and each coil can last months, im on about week 7 or 8 with one on my tank now and still tastes brand new.

Don't forget the Aspire EVO coils. They're all claptons that are as good or better than the Triton 0.5 claptons, plus they have a longer lifespan, in my experience. They're on the same level with regard to flavor as the vaporesso ceramics, IMO.

Personally, my current favorite for flavor is the TFV8 Baby Beast with the X4 coils, but I can't end this post without putting in a good word for the original Crown. Frankly, nothing I've owned in 4 years of vaping gives great flavor more consistently than that old man, short of drippers or RDTAs, and even that's a tight race. With a pack of coils for $7.99 at Ecig.com, it's a tough call between the Crown and rebuildables when you compare cost of the pre-mades with time spent building and wicking.

Just my 2 cents.

Yeah ceramic isn't for huge clouds but that tank does give really good flavor. Impossible to leak and built really nice. And the coils are cheap

Yeah I agree about original crown. I got 2, a black and a s/s. Better than the v2.Still use them 0.5 about 50-60 w and p. 25 at 75w and Got to be in my top 5 of all tanks whether for glamour or cloud for ohm size. Target with Ccell number 1 for flavour for me and tfv8 for cloud. Not tried tfv12 I never gone over 130 on v8 so no need I think.

Should we assume the EVO coils will work in an Atlantis 2, Herakles v1, etc? Triton 0.5 Clapton would be great adv except for the terrible lifespan.

Also kicked around the idea of the SE-1, Blazer in both sizes, and Cleito in both sizes, if you've tried these, since I think we have similar tastes?

In the Baby, not tried X4. I like the T8, T6 not bad but doesn't feel as natural, and the Q2 does nothing for me.

Always liked that 60-90w range, give or take 20 in either direction, tastes are very mainstream I guess. Got an Arctic v12 that I hate. Scares me away from the Cloud Beast and similar. Maybe not fair to say.....

I seem to remember that you like the 1.8ohm sense coils in another tank. If that is the case you might like the Blazer 200. The .6 ohm coil is 3 of the 1.8 ohm coils in parallel. The Arctic V12 is the worst of the larger sub ohm tanks for flavor in my experience. The TFV8 gives good flavor if you use it in the "best" range for their individual coils. The Melo 300 also gives good flavor and doesn't require as much power as Smok coils do. But based on what you have said elsewhere, I think you might like the Blazer 200 more. And unlike your Arctic V12 you can experiment with the other coils from Smok and Eleaf if you want as they are interchangeable in the Blazer 200.

I would recommend the Sense 1.8 for flavor, though it was volt limited to about 25w on the ipv d3. How does that work in triplicate, for using the Blazer 0.6 at maybe 85w on a dual 18650? I also see passing concerns about health and safety of ceramic, though maybe hearsay.

As for Blazer Mini, I've heard it is great but coil life can be worse than Baby Beast, and flavor starts to trail off in a few days. This is from a small sample size of 3 people, fwiw.

Any suggestions? I'm hearing Crown, Cleito, Mini Super Tank

Which is the best?

Please clarify whether you want a mouth-to-lung experience (like smoking a cigarette) or direct-lung experience, as this will be the ultimate deciding factor when shopping for a new tank. Thank you.

Original uwell crown for flavour and cloud, For flavour only I say target pro tank with 0.9 CCell ceramic coil about 28-35w and I've never had anything that beats that for flavour. I give it a 10/10 for flavour.

The .6 Blazer coil is specified as a 50-100W coil. That is 5.48-7.75V and within the range of most mods. If you preferred the 1.8 at 25W you would probably prefer the .6 at 75W. You might want to think about this coil as a hybrid ceramic/cotton coil. There is a larger bore than necessary with cotton still around each coil. That was done specifically to alleviate health concerns and still provide some of the benefits of ceramic.

Yeah, the EVO works in all the tanks that are in the Aspire Atlantis/Triton Coil Fits thread. They've got a 0.4 that is more aimed at clouds and a 0.5 with a slightly tighter draw for stronger flavor. Both are claptons.

I've got two Cleitos. I thought I lost one and ordered another, only to find the original one later. It's a pretty good flavor tank with the 0.4 coils (both kanthal and SS), but the 0.2 was disappointing, IMO.

In the Baby, the X4 is the best flavor coil with the octuple in a close second. I've heard bad things about the T6 and I'm in total agreement with you on the Q2. It was worthless.

When there has been at least 3 threads on the first page of this sub forum complaining about the Cleito for the past several weeks, is it not time to stop recommending it? Not only is it an obsolete and inconvenient design, but it is obviously problematic for many also.

When you are making claims about the integrity of other reviewers elsewhere on this forum it seems odd that you would be recommending an item that so many are having issues with. Or maybe, just maybe, different people express different opinions based on different experiences and expectations. Personally I think the Cleito is a piece of utter crap. But I wouldn't be calling you out if I didn't feel that you had called out others for identical behavior.
Absolutely. I was one of them when i started out vaping a few weeks ago i started with the picco and a melo mini tank. The set up was stolen so back to the shop i went. Scooped up the alien with the cleito 120 and i lobe the mod the tank itself i cant stand. Im not just some guy doing dumb shit. I have studied this taank in out upside down and watched an hours worth of videos. Took it apart put it back together with all spare parts checked ever o ring watchwd every video there is about how to fill this tank And i hate it. Most people will take my suggestion and throw it right out. But as in speaking for a newer vapor this is not the tank you want. If you dont understand that saturating the wick is not the same as others u will flood or burn it up. The tank leaks half the juice out. It really turned me off for a few days i was like fuck this man. I would and always will suggest the melo mini over it

ive been running a clieto120 for the last 3 months and love the flavor and aside from one bad coil o ring have yet to have an issue. i run it between 80-100w and a coil lasts about 3weeks or 10k puffs. My local shop recomends them for most everyone and its one of the cheapest tanks they carry. Hell im kind of sad i got the melo300 tonight instead of just getting a cleito120 for my new mod too!

This sounds good i wish i had the same experience. Also remember not everyone just starting out can run at 80 w or anywhere near that. I started at 20w stay around 50 now. Maybe my prob had to do with not enought power

I started running at 15-20w. Moved up slowly. Not saying its for everyone thats for sure. I used alot less juice running a small tank at lower wattages.

More experience now with the Baby T6 this week. Very long break in compared to the others, but it is the cloud chucker of the group.

Never tried an og Cleito until today. Our local vape shop set up all their juice testers with Cleito tanks on NX75's, 0.4 coils, mods set to 50w.

Now I get it, the hit is very immediate and direct, with warm, dense, effortless vapor. Not really the flavor or clouds but the overall experience. Would have bought one but they were charging $30, so I will go online.

By the way, I would forget about the NX75.

I started with a Kanger sub nano, but soon upgraded to a Smok G320 with Baby Best. I like the X-4 coils the best..the beast is a cloud chucker with okay flavor, but eats through ejuice. I got a Smok Spirals and this thing is a flavor machine!! I am running it on a Revenant Cartel 160 and it is great. I want to rebuild, so I have a Kayfun V5 on the way. The Spirals is a small capacity, but I fill it about as often as the baby beast. The only con I have found on the spirals is the drip tip is sorta loose and catches my facial hair and lip a little. But all in all a great tank.

I got the Spirals. 0.3 coil gets best marks for flavor. :)
Finally got my Spirals in the mail just now. I've got the 0.3-ohm coil in it with some Cali Steam Crazy Toucan filling the tank. Just took my first draw at 35 watts after a slow buildup to break in the coil and, I'm impressed! The airflow is a little tight, but not quite what I would call an MTL draw. Flavor is popping! I'm wicking up the RBA right now to give it a run after I empty this 2mls of juice from the tank. i considered waiting for the "Plus" to come out, but I like to change flavors pretty frequently so the small size of the tank won't bug me unless I'm on a road trip and filling is a bit of an annoyance.

This little puppy is definitely in the conversation for best flavor tank, IMHO. I'll have to try the other two coils and run some other juices through it before I know exactly where it falls on my list of Top 5 Flavor Tanks, but after just a few draws, I'm sure it will be on the list. I'll get back to this thread once I've had a bit more time with it. First impression is that Smok has hit yet another one out of the park. They're on fire these days! :bomb:

For an absolute beginner, and you've never built coils, I would go for a Vaporesso target pro tank with a 0.9 ohm coil Vaping about 30-35w and I've not had better tasted liquid. The original uwell crown comes in 3nd place but I'd say you have to use a 0.5 coil Vaping about 45-60w for clouds and taste, if Target pro tank is 9/10 for flavour and enough vloud for low wattage "39-35w". Then the crown is about a 6-7 out of 10, as it gives good cloud and flavour for them scored.
Flavour only for beginners is the Vaporesso target pro 75w. With 0.9 ceramic coils. I've been Vaping 3-4 years sub tanks only so I know a bit about them. I've heard that rda's are best of everything, but they're not for beginners really mate. Long post but helpful I hope.

Sorry chain vaper I've posted to you again when it was for the original question on this post. Sorry again mate. I'll work it out one day. It's for the guy who posted the original question? Flavour for beginners. I don't know how to move it to his post.

The Estoc and Vecco tanks are very easy to use, have inexpensive coils, and the ceramic coils produce huge flavor. The beast and Cleito will give flavor and more vapor, if you are into clouds. If not and you are just after flavor with good vapor production (not going to win any contests lol) then I would go for either of these. Will set you back $15 or so.
