Beware of MXJO 18650 batteries

I can't find a thread for this, but if it's been discussed feel free to remove admins.

I bought 2 MXJO 18650 batteries and was happy with how long they lasted... That was until one week later when my 3 year old Samsung batteries were still out performing them. In my 150w sigelei (sp?) once it hits 52% battery life at 100 watts I have to go all the way down to 60w just to vape without a "check batteries" warning. Even then once it hits 45-48% it has to be even lower watts. My samsungs will hit about 16-18% before I have to turn it down from 100w. Also once the MXJO's hit 95% they drop 1-3% in battery life after every other hit. My samsungs will stay at 100% for about 25 pulls, and it takes half a day to get it down to about 60-65% (and that's with about 150 pulls).

I would NOT waste your money on these absolutely horrible batteries! Just thought I'd warn others.

Sure you didn't get counterfeits? I use a set of MJXO in my 150W and also in my Hexohm v2 and have not noticed any performance issues at 75-90 watts.

Could be a bad set. The Sigelei mods of that era also aren't known for a super understamdable battery meter. My 100W stays at 100% for ages before starting to drop.

MXJO are also probably B grade cells. Not unsafe, they just have a higher internal resistance, so can't give their full potential, especially under high loads. 100W is around 15A from the cells on a regulated mod, got to admit, that's high current right there.

Pulled a completely dead one out of briefcase mod today. I know I shut it down. If I put battery in charger it will show completely charged but it is dead.

They're authentic batteries. A few others around town have said the same thing. This is just my own opinion and personal experience with them.

Again I only get real issues at 100w when they hit half battery life. Even my SX mini which I've read is pretty accurate on battery life (and so far has been with other batteries to my knowledge), it hits half battery life and cuts off at 50j in temp control and will only work at 25-30j for another 50 pulls.
