Ok so to start off I would consider this a higher end mod. That being said I wanted to pick up a BMI box until I saw they chose to use the SX350 chip. The box looks super nice and well constructed no doubt but it's hard for me to stomach it not supporting all available features like TC in particular.

Am I alone here? It's not all about the price for me but I would think at that price point they would go for a newer version chip. Thoughts?

For those curious...

My thoughts exactly for both comments! I think they expected it to sell. The emails tried to make it out like it was gonna be this "hurry up and get one cause they will be gone.." type of deal yet they have been in stock since the release @ 3am EST the other day. If the price doesn't cut in half at a minimum I doubt very seriously they will all sell.

I think this was an excellent opportunity to build a real SX350j badass looking box that could take the 150w upgrade. They might have actually been able to move a significant amount of units even at the $299. Well.... Maybe lol.

I want a dual battery sx 350j mod that has a switch to configure the cells to run in either parallel or series. that would be the shit IMO.
