During Comic-Con@Home 2021, Bob's Burgers' creator, executive producer, and cast shared details on the show's upcoming 12th season and the Bob's Burgers movie, the latter of which is set to be a "musical, comedy, mystery, adventure, and kind of coming-of-age-story."

Bob's Burgers' creator and executive producer Loren Bouchard led the panel and gave some updates on Season 12, which will debut later this fall. Alongside confirming some returning and new guests like Stephanie Beatriz, Zach Galifianakis, Ashley Nicole Black, Tim Meadows, and Ron Funchess, Bouchard also shared names of some of the upcoming season's episodes.

These include Crystal Mess, The Pumpkining, Driving Big Dummy, Seventween Again, Beach Please, Stuck in the Kitchen With You, Gene's Christmas Break, Lost in Bedslation, FOMO You Didn't, Touch of Evaluations, Video Killed the Genio Star, Frigate Me Not, and Ferry on my Wayward Bob and Linda.

Bouchard and executive producer Nora Smith also confirmed that the season will have a two-parter episode at the end, and it will "break some rules" of the show. The episode will also mostly take place in Tina's erotic fiction where she is exploring a Blade Runner romantic/dark fantasy.

As for the movie, Bouchard still isn't ready to give out a release date, but he did confirm it will be released in theaters and will be, as previously mentioned, a "musical, comedy, mystery, adventure, and kind of coming-of-age-story." There will also be a short titled "My Butt has a Fever," that Bouchard hopes can be released in theaters.

Bob's Burgers: The Movie was originally set to be released in July 2020. Many were concerned about the fate of this movie following Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, but all looks to be well in this world of burgers.
