Boreas single coil build

Has anyone tried the single coil build on the Boreas?..I was thinking the air wouldn't hit the coil the same and might kill flavor a little?..I may try this tomorrow sometime after work...Thoughts?

I have, I put the coil between the 2 posts. The flavor seems fine but I've never tried dual coil on it yet.

When it first came out I only ran it single coil - like Heart does.

The flavor was still outstanding - not as cloudy, but that is not important to me. Also, juice consumption was much lower. One guy actually made a plug for it to run single, lol

Ok awesome,Ty...I was just concerned how the cotton was going to block all the air flow to the coil..Ill give it a try and see how i like it.

Just remember to keep the wick tails fluffy & make sure all the juice holes on the deck are covered but not compressed.
