I was wanting a mech for a littlw bit and was planing on getting one next paycheck but chance happened on me again today (yesterday got an authentic mint madhatter for 10$) and snaged a cuomo clone for 20$ its a solid clone and the ghys at my vape shop checked it out before cash went the sellers way and gave it a clean bill of health. Right now i got a build in my tobecco atty (26 at 6 wraps 3mm id dual) and its working pretty good at .35 ohms. 20160126_202923.jpgthing looks badass. And i really like it. I got alot of great info from the guys at the vapeshop as far as a basic howto. Im hopeing i could get some tricks and tips from you guys.

On my mechs I try to keep the ohms just slightly under. 2 I like the way they hit

keep it clean, use something on your contacts like conductive grease or deoxit, triple check any build you put on it, battery safety

pretty simple really

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Just any tricks or tips on owning and using and building for a mech.
Most importantly, make sure, your coil build suits the specification of the batteries you're using (continuous discharge rate). Don't get cheap re-wrap batteries. I highly recommend getting Sony VCT4 batteries (from a reputable vendor, e. g. http://liionwholesale.com).

Sweet, welcome to the side with no screens lol. I use both regulated and mechanical, but mechs are much more satisfying to me.

Damn im happy with this thing. Now thst i got a good build (simple build compared to what i normly build) this thing is chucking clouds thst rivle my 200w builds on my regulated box. This shit is gunna make me a much better builder becuase now im thinking about ramp up and how how many wraps to get what resistance i want vs how many wraps will fit in this damn atty. So happy i snaged this tube

Glad you like it man, I always keep my builds simple really, sometimes I like to get fancy and use twisted 28g. :D

Mechs seem to ramp smoother and deliver a constant flow of power unlike my Regulated boxes which I feel have a fluctuating output.

I can see that. Its a simple build for me tho lol but im goin crazy with claptons lately for my regulated shit so even just a wraped wire is basic at this point. But damn this build fucking rocks specialy in my madhatter

I like to use small RTAs on my mechs, a la Goblin Mini.

Which also has a top fill v2 coming soon.

I have a tobeco torque, a lush and my mad hatter. Looking to get an alliance v2 and many a deadmodz in the future. I'd also like to get a Kennedy eventually but damn that's money. Next paycheck I'm not shire if I'll get anything but juice. Got debt to pay up

I liked the deadmodz, just know its like 23.5mm instead of 22mm

Maybe look into the Derringer clones, I liked mine.
Also the Aeolus Lite but its around 35.

The best Ive used is the LokiLabs Odin V1 flavor wise.

So far im loving this thing. Antpd the battery life isnt that bad eiather. But im finding ill have to hit the trigger a time or two to get it to fire. Any ideas? Ive made shure everythings good in the switch by disasembling it and reasembling it and making sure its all tight. And the 510 is all adjusted properly as well. Im stumped.

Now the fire button wants to stick a little. I have a feeling the two issues are not unrelated. I feel a good cleaning is in order.

Yup, clean it up and use toothbrush or something to get the threads nice and debris free

how do you like the bfm is it awkward in the hand what do you think of it
Very comfortable actually.. BFM was my first copper 26650 mech..copper contacts, copper button, magnetic brass switch housing and brass hybrid top cap makes for one of the hardest hitting mechs I've ever vaped.. Had it for about two years now..also have his little brother, the copper 18650 XXIX...both are from BCV...
