I am currently a proud owner of an ipv3, I have been drooling over a smy 260w for awhile, i really like the 3 battery, I know this will last a long time because my ipv3 already last quite awhile(using samsung 18650s) and how good it looks, I wanted to check with the community if there might be anything better with 3+ battery slots before i go and buy then wish i had the next thing, I am trying to manage my vape spending better haha, I need to stop buying every cool new thing i see and find the one i just really like. I am about 78% confident of this purchase, just hoping i can get some suggestions or a go ahead!

Never heard of it before now, but upon looking it up, it looks like a damn cool mod.

Certain is an ugly thing. They could have at least rounded off the edges a bit. And those shiny sides would drive me nuts.

I've only heard bad things about their stuff. Since you already have a big power box, maybe hold off and try and find a better quality device.

Honestly I haven't heard too much about smy at all. What little I have heard hasn't been all that great, but i have no first hand knowledge. It certainly looks like it's solid. Appears to have a stout connector and that's a big deal to me. I probably shouldn't have even posted here. If you have found an adequate number of video and written reviews from actual owners and the general opinion is positive, go for it. The price isn't too bad and I don't think there's too many triple battery mods out there. If you can let this thread sit for a little while, hopefully there are a few owners that will chime in. Two way conversations are better than one way reviews.

Skullz, have you done the 165w upgrade for your ipv3?
No. I tried to but couldn't figure it out. Not that big a deal just a extra 15watts. I have a 260w device anyway.

The IPV3 upgrade is worth it just to get the improved resistance reading to a hundredth of an ohm. I could care less about the extra 15watts, I also don't really care about being able to use a coil down to 0.08ohm which was also added. But the better resistance reading is worth it for me. BTW, the only way I was able to update it was with the batteries removed. If I had the batteries in it would recognize the device.
