Brand Ambassador – Outside Sales (Raleigh & Greenville, NC)

Working with the Business Unit Managing Director, this brand new position will be responsible for developing, implementing and driving the sales for a very interesting and niche startup business involving e-liquids.

Initially, this is a “hands on” position with administrative and general responsibilities. This exciting startup has very impressive growth plans over the next few years. The position and the team will evolve and grow significantly over time and this person will be expected to grow with it. Position will be extremely varied, demanding, yet highly rewarding and will play a major part in the business and in its future success. The person in this role will be responsible for identifying and securing new customer opportunities and selling our product into diverse markets. In addition, the person in this role will play a role in assisting with decisions of the business and ensuring growth and profitability.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, implement business development strategy including sales, distribution and customer satisfaction to drive the growth and profitability of the company
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales plans and forecasts on a regular basis to executive management
  • Find, develop and close new business opportunities
  • Determine and monitor key performance indicators such as revenue vs. plan, contact rate, quote closure rate and gross profit percentage
  • Identify and develop distribution channels
  • Assess market needs and generate product requirements and definition for development
  • Monitor and evaluate sales and distribution trends for different markets, carrying our marketing analyses to identify potential opportunities
  • Build long-term collaborative relationships with distribution partners
  • Develop direct marketing programs and ensure appropriate stocking levels with distributors
  • Clearly express the value proposition of the products
  • Develop lead generation and revenue generation programs
  • Understand and stay current on industry trends and current and future competitive landscape
  • Help execute a strategic marketing plan
  • Provide executive engagement and thought-leadership to build and maintain relationships

  • Bachelor degree
  • Experience with vaping, dripping, coil assembly, mods and rebuilds
  • Knowledge of e-liquid flavors & popularity of flavors
  • Current user of vaping preferred
  • Previous sales experience with expertise in building partnerships a plus
  • Thrive on challenges and opening new markets to deliver results
  • Ability to negotiate contracts
  • Understanding of business and finance ; finance experience a plus
  • Innovative, with strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Technologically savvy – on top of the latest technology and highly proficient with MS Office
  • Written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence the decisions of others (including executive management)

  • Strong presentation skills – high level Microsoft PowerPoint skills

  • Impeccable integrity
