well shit..... who woulda thunk it... between this and the rx200, I feel like a big fucking chumo for spending what I did on shit. this mod would be perfect

Yeah man, I opened the box and saw the Cadillac diamond pearl finish and was surprised.
(Almost the same as the white on the VTC)

Then I loaded up some brand new fresh bats I had waiting for it, screwed on the Billow and fired her up.
Had a serious WTF moment, why have I been shelling out all this cash... ?

Have you not seen the write ups on this,? Nothing but 5 star and all great vids. I personally have the I stick 60 tc and it is the best quality I have seen yet for the size. It even has a heat sink as long as the board and this means a lot. The largest heat sink on any of them if they even have one is thumbnail size. It does not have wires running all over the place no glues or silicone it is just solid and works without any glitches.

It is still an eleaf mod.
Maybe use a regular charger?

Oh, I am lol, I only charge on a circuit protected charger plugged into a surge protector. I was just taking a prod at the iStick 50w :D

I do the same. I don't trust anyone's soldering other than my own.

Whats truly got me is that this fuckin thing must sip on battery power, Ive been running these HE2's since about 9am between 58-65 watts (about 30min on bypass with the .15 SS build in the Goblin Mini too) and the battery meter is barely budging.

Using Parallel batts was a huge win for the i100.

Well I was on the fence about a mod to compliment the Uwell Rafale and I think I just found it, now I have to figure out how many lattes I need to skip to justify the purchase.

I cannot find that video I was looking for but one of the up coming updates for this I stick was to increase it 20w. I watched so many vids Saturday I have not been able to track it down but I'm not done looking for it.

Yep sure is, got some pics in a thread I started for car guys in here somewhere. The new RS is badass and comes pretty loaded, been waiting for the stealerships to get them in so I can test drive.

In a previous post you mentioned an improved RX chip on this device, what kind of improvement were you referring to?

Regarding the update eleaf emailed me back saying that this device can not reach 150W due to its parallel batteries but the update will IMPROVE the power, so i predicted a 120W update which seems just about right, question is will they increase the amperage limit as well?

EDIT: I do not think this mod will set anybody's house on fire, after all the bad rep. Eleaf got because of that, i believe they have made absolutely sure that the charging circuit in this mod was good enough before writing in the manual that it is ok to charge via USB.

Shit, even 100-110w with a 35amp limit would be fuckin golden.

Unless it is hard locked on the chip, then no software update will ever remedy this, i am starting to think that the RX chip and circuit board are made of components that can not handle more than 25A output

Why else would they have a 25A limit on a parallel 100W device? And remove it in bypass? Does not make sense at all, this is like saying, the shit can take it but we are capping it!!

Do you have an ultra low build or a piece of 0.05 ohm wire to screw on one of your RTA/RDA bases and see how far would this mod go in bypass?

When my battery bar reached half way tonight i started getting a low-battery warning when trying to fire 65w on a .3 ohm coil @ 4.25v, I had to re trip the fire bar to make it fire.

This reaccured every time the screen went to sleep until I swapped batts.

Keep in mind these batts (LG HE2 2500mah) lasted from 9am to 9pm under moderate use. (About 15ml)

Just an FYI

I can certainly do it in the morning, ill look up the lowest ohms that it will fire in power mode and use a coil measured out to that.

Oh there is no need to test this, in the specs

"0.1-3.5ohm (VW/Bypass mode)"

So 0.1 is the lowest it would go in bypass, means 42A 176W when batteries are fully charged, so the shit can do 42A without a problem but is artificially capped by the chip, this is annoying....

I believe it was a German that spoke English on a you tube video I tried to find the vid but had no luck also I was not on my you tube account so I did not have any history of it. The German passed on what eleaf told him about the chip being an improved Rx chip that one of the updates was going to be changing it to 120 watt. That is all I got off the vid because I did not watch the complete vid. If I come across it I will put the vid here. He seemed like he knew a lot about the I stick and had a lot of inside information.

have a Griffin on the way to pair with it though.
Griffin all the way

Got my Griffin today, best tank i have ever used, build is super easy with that massive deck, vapor and flavor for days, very well constructed, easy perfect wicking, no leaking whatsoever, built with dual SS316L, 9 wraps each on 3mm ID, comes down to 0.34 ohm, works like a dream in TC,

It also looks bad ass on the iStick, matches perfectly, sets flush with the positive pin tightened all the way, i am in vape heaven :)

Problem with the Griffin is that it produces huge huge clouds, if i vape at home my wife complains of the fog, if i vape outdoors i think the entire street will be steering at me lol

I also got what seems to be a new revision, the word Griffin is no longer engraved on it, and the Griffin logo is not painted with black like the old one, it is just a stainless steel leaser engraved Griffin ... looks neat.

Turn your airflow down and your wattage, and maybe a smaller build for indoor use if the weather system bothers people inside....Im lucky enough where my wife and I both vape heavy and I love how sometimes I can barely see the TV on the other side of the room

LOL! Everytime I start really getting after some clouds my wife asks if I need her to open the door for me. So passive aggressive.

Yeah the clouds my current build is producing is too extreme for my taste, it totally fogs the room after a couple of hits, i need to build smaller, what is the smallest build i can do in this tank? Is 5-6 wraps per coil enough? Can i build a single coil in this beast with some workaround?

Also when i turn airflow down like half the way it starts to whistle and becomes annoying.

Any build can be put into it and it work just fine, thats what the airflow adjustment is for and if its not warm enough then make your coils closer to the air ports on the deck.

This is a dual coil only RTA...
Try Dual 24g 7 wrap/3mm ID coils and use them around 55w

7 wraps sound just perfect not too cool and not too warm, should limit the vapor production to a more acceptable level.

Will try that one next, thanks

I just put the same thing into a Fountain V2 Squonk'R Tank that @Hank F. Spankman sent me...Its a decent vape and would be exceptional to most, I like it a bit warmer but others may like it more.

Tried that build today and i thank you sincerely for the recommendation, perfect perfect build for my liking and vaping style, vapor temperature is just right, produces just the right amount if vapor, flavor is great, i love it!

I wish it didnt have the juice flow control, only because Ill never use it with Max VG and second because it just makes breaking the tank down a dlight pain trying to grip narrow sections to unscrew exactly what you need too.

Other than that, I love this thing lol.
