I wish it didnt have the juice flow control, only because Ill never use it with Max VG and second because it just makes breaking the tank down a dlight pain trying to grip narrow sections to unscrew exactly what you need too.

Other than that, I love this thing lol.
you need that when top filling to prevent leaking, if you wick it right, your cotton should not be blocking the juice channels, and if wicked that way it will flood if you top fill it with the juice control wide open.

At first i was making the cotton block the juice channels so that i can top fill it without closing them, but i was not getting that wet flavorful vape i wanted, i changed the wick to one that is just gently tucked behind the o-ring and started closing the juice control when filling.

One issue i find with the Griffin though, i know it is not a straight up con, is that its liquid capacity is not a match for its juice guzzling properties, this thing eats through juice, and i find my self filling and refilling it all the time, i know that they had to sacrifice the capacity for the amazingly huge build deck and chimney, but it would have been much better if they managed to make this at least a 5ml tank so that its re-filling frequency would not be so high, maybe making it 23-24mm in diameter and a bit longer/higher.

Yea Im waiting for the 25mm Griffin....If its actually released then there wont be anything else Ill use at all...Even if its just the capacity thats increased, I hope the build deck is slightly increased also though! Ive used Subtanks with 3-3.5ml for the longest time so I dont see much of a difference when using the Griffin, I havent had any RTA/Tank with much more then that either, only my VCMT but I find the Griffin to be better then the VCMT overall.
With how easy the topfill is the capacity doesnt really matter...

If they make a 25mm version that would be a dream RTA. topfilling the Griffin (or any other tank for that matter) is not very convenient

- Close juice channels
- unscrew top
- open bottle
- fill the tank
- screw on top
- wipe clean the juice that gets pushed out while screwing on top cap
- Open juice channels
- close bottle

It is an 8 steps process and having to do it multiple times a day is inconvenient :)

I just unscrew the top and dump juice in bud. I dont do anything else but that...How is that not convenient, ever filled bottom fill tank on the move?
If your not sloppy or use a unicorn bottle then theres not mess or juice anywhere and if you wicked it right then it doesnt leak or even get gurgly when filled with juice ports wide open...

I dont close my juice flow ring at all.
Just unscrew the top and fill.

Ive been using about 15ml+ a day, since lunch Ive already ran through 20ml+ in the Griffin, still got 5-7 hours to go lol.

I stopped and bought 120ml of my favorite B&M juice just to keep this thing fed lol.

Exactly my case, i have been vaping 5-6ml per day tops, since the Griffin ... today i filled it for the 4th time and vaped most of it before going to bed ... that is DOUBLE what i normally vape per day, i just can't resist it, with that vapor and flavor it produces i can't get it off my mouth :D

So today i found the first small con about the iStick, the paint on the edges of the battery covers got just a little chopped off after a week of use, nothing big just worth mentioning,

The more annoying con is that after the magnets got a little weaker from use, the covers started wiggling back and forth noticeably, was very easy to fix, small pieces of electrical tape on both edges around the magnets was enough to fill the gap and make it fit very firmly, also worked as good stoppers between the metal and plastic, now it is back as solid as day one!

Now that i have the .bin files for the firmware i tried reverse engineering it to raise wattage to 150W and the Amp limit and put some custom screen, firmware turned out to be encrypted so that would take more time to fix than i intended to put today, so that is a project for another time.

@BadLuckAndTrouble it would be nice if you check if the 25A limit has been improved with your 0.15 Ohm coil whenever you have a minute, just do it when you have time, not so much in a hurry, just curious.

Got a little busy signing for a new house @ 5 so I'll do my best to get it updated and tested out earlier than later.

Take all the time you need, we all have more important things to do in life than vaping, you can do it tomorrow or whenever you are in the mode for it, no worries buddy :)

Not encouraging, being as you've had that thing for, what, all of three weeks--at the most?

Well, i am nitpicking here, these are very minor cons and i mentioned them just because i did not find any real ones after using it for all that time, the paint i would say is as solid as any other finished mod out there, it is not horrible like Kanger, just a dot here or a dot there and it is not even that obvious unless you go looking for them, i don't know of any other mod where this would not happen, unless the mod is an all plastic and i know of non, or it is just using the bare metal without any finish or paint job on it.

the battery cover wiggling is just in a space of a half millimeter, since i put the small pieces of electric tape around the edges where the covers sit it has been rock solid since, no amount of movement whatsoever even tiny, and the rubber of the electric tape is working as an excellent stopper and padding for the panel that is working as a button, it was a very easy and quick improvement i made and it is really nothing to worry about at all.

Other than that the device has really been excellent and a joy to use, it is in my opinion the best mod of all those released this year, very thoughtfully engineered and very well build, i really recommend that you get one if you can get over your disliking of that long plastic across the screen, the plastic strip in this mod is the smallest and thinnest of all, very little chance to get smudges on it, and when it happens every few days just a quick wipe on my t-shirt or so and it is perfectly clear again.

Being the all OCD person i am, i just can't find any fault with this device.
