Breathing problems

Hi,
I have been vaping for 3-4 months and have been using the same liquids for all this time but now have suddenly started getting breathing problems. I just cant get a full deep breath, its really uncomfortable and is quite worrying to be honest. This is immediately after taking puffs of my vape and will go away entirely about an hour of not vaping. I havent changed my PG/VG ratio (60/40) or my nicotine strength (6mg) at all, and the same flavours that i used to be able to chain vape all day are now causing this. Im using an Aspire Triton tank with a 30w mod. Could i have suddenly developed an allergy to PG or VG? And if so, any ideas which one it would be?
So i was just wondering, has anyone else had anything like this? And if so, how and what did you change?

Super annoyed with this, dont want to fall back onto cigarettes and i have just invested in a new mod thats in the post :')

I have a sensitivity to VG and certain flavorings that do this exact same thing. Its usually worse with higher VG, but I have begun to notice I also have this issue with some vanilla flavorings and sweeteners. It's almost like an asthma attack. It's not un-common. I've also noticed that it happens more with higher wattage/dripping vapes than it does with my tanks.

Since a lot of vendors now are listing VG first, I would check with your juice maker to be sure you are getting 60PG and not 60VG. Also.. ask if they've changed any of the ingredients.

Hey there Josh, it really may be your PG/VG ratio or maybe even one of the flavorings that irritate you, have you tried to vape a different flavored and ratio juice yet?

Hi there, thank you for your replies.
I have tried different flavors but all are irritating me, but they are all the same PG/VG ratio. I tried a bottle that i was vaping last week totally comfortably and even that sent me into a breathing fit. So im thinking ive developed a sensitivity to either PG or VG unfortunately. Will have to try and source some different ratio liquids, any suggestions on ratios to try first?

PG gives me harshness, but it may be the opposite for you, I'd just experiment with them.

hey @JoshCyprus ... I am sorry you're having this issue all of a sudden. I have a question...do you have asthma or chronic bronchitous from smoking? Usually the PG in eliquid is simular to the stuff in asthma inhalers if I remember right but I know when I guit vaping I didn't get sick for several months till I started getting really bad headaches...I finally broke down and went to the doctor and I had a massive sinus infection that had spread to my throat and one of my ears and I didn't realize I was sick because I felt nowhere as bad as when I felt like when I got sick as smoker because I would get bronchitous.

im not saying you are but I wouldn't rule out you might have a cold...it wouldn't hurt to talk to a doctor to just make sure....that way you can rule that and a bunch of other things out just to make sure... either way I hope you get it worked out and can vape happy again soon. wishing you the best of luck :)

I know you posted that it seems to be tied to your vaping, but just tossing this out there - any other changes to environment, such as a scented wax melt in the room you vape in, different cleaning products (laundry soap, etc), exposure to perfumes/colognes, or anything else?

Hi all, thanks for your replies.
I did have chronic bronchitos when smoking! I havent felt anywhere near as bad as i did when i was smoking tho, but perhaps i should get that ruled out by a doctor. Might have just caught a cold and is drastically effecting my vaping.

In terms of change of environment, the only change really is the weather. Currently in a heat wave where im based, drinking a ton of water but dehydration could be a contributing factor.
