Cape Town, South Africa-based developer Free Lives and its “democratically elected publisher Devolver Digital” have today announced that Broforce will be exiting Steam Early Access on October 15. The full launch of Broforce will feature a new set of campaign levels that will take the bros into hell itself for a final showdown with Satan.
To mark the release Free Lives and Broforce musician Deon van Heerden have released a five-track EP of Broforce music including The Ballad of Rambro and the Broforce Theme. The “Freedom EP” is free as a thank you to Broforce Early Access owners from now until the game’s final launch next week.
Broforce, which began life as a game jam entry back in 2012, is a sidescrolling run ’n’ gun splatterfest featuring a huge cast of characters, all of which are parodies of action heroes (including Rambro, Brommando, Double Bro Seven, The Brofessional, Ellen Ripbro, and many, many more).
