Bucanero
Bucanero is the name of the liquid I am bringing you today. It is a liquid created in Spain in collaboration with Drops that promises a flavor similar to the famous American treat Twinkie, the star dessert of the Zombieland movies, if anyone has seen them. This review is possible thanks to Vapeo24; you can visit their website to learn more about them and the liquid.
According to the manufacturer: With the goal of recreating the most faithful flavor of that sweet treat that transports us back to our school recess afternoons (EGB), Bucanero is inspired by the American Twinkie pastry (adapted by Bimbo in Spain), a spongy cake filled with delicate cream. A nostalgic flavor now recreated in liquid format that will take you back to those endless afternoons at the park with your friends.
Keep in mind that this liquid comes in a 16mL aroma format and must be topped up with vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol, in addition to your preferred amount of nicotine.
Regarding the smell, you can clearly perceive a sort of spongy cake, though to me it has a distinct vanilla aroma; however, this time I do not perceive it as an alcoholic note but rather a sweet one. I can also notice a bit of cream, but a simple cream, maybe some whipped cream that I am sure will also add creaminess when vaping. I cannot say how faithful it is to a Twinkie because I have never tried one.
As for the vape experience, the test was done on an RDA with handmade coils. To start, this is a liquid for those with a sweet tooth, although it is not extremely overwhelming for the taste buds or the cotton. Once again, the base is clear: pure sponge cake. It is a liquid that isn't dry at all, thanks to the other notes that blend with the cake. Again, I can notice a kind of extra note that I imagine is the cream, but I wouldn't know exactly how to describe its taste.
In short, Bucanero is a sweet liquid with a clear sponge cake base and notes of vanilla and cream. While I cannot verify its resemblance to a real Twinkie, it delivers a vape that is not dry and does not overwhelm the taste buds or the cotton.
