Maybe I am jumping th e gun by the statement; but looking at history sigelei appears to be a tad better as far as fit and finish goes. I don't own a sigelei mod but my ipvmi2 and ipv3's compared to a sigelei of similar power do show a huge difference in finish. I think of it as going from a ford to a mercury... same product but a little more attention to detail with slight upgrades in material.
The lack of a dual battery will Hurt it to some I'm sure, but I'm one that isn't a fan of the 'married batteries'. I have one set for the few times I wanna take my sx mini up to higher power; but, I can't keep my keys in the same spot, moreless batteries.
Yeah fair enough. My only experience of Pioneer4You is the IPV4 and I certainly can't claim it's a masterpiece of design or QC - the screen alone is utterly ridiculous. I have heard good things about the Sigeleis.
Regarding batteries - what I've done is label mine in pairs. Battery A1 and A2, B1 and B2, etc. I always make sure I use them as pairs, but I move the pairs between my two dual battery mods (the IPV4 and the Waidea VF clone.)
I don't yet have any single battery mods - my first will arrive in a couple of weeks, it's the Kangxin Mini VF 50W I described above. When I get it I planned to get another pair of batteries and label them S1 and S2, and use those only in the single battery mod(s)
Although I learnt something interesting today (which perhaps is not news to you!) - one only really needs to worry about marrying with series mods. Dual battery series mods should have matched batteries, but for dual parallel mods it doesn't matter. And in fact they could even have different charge levels, and they would become equalised after a while (the lesser charged battery being in effect charged by the mod/the greater charged battery.)
Of course if one has both parallel and series mods, the problem remains. But it would change the nature of the problem - it would mean that instead of dedicating a pair of batteries to single mods, I could instead dedicate batteries for the Series mod(s) (also labelled 'S'!), and then the others could be interchangeable between parallel or single mods.
But yeah it is an extra hassle all round, though not one I can avoid already owning one parallel, one series, and soon one single battery mod! I can understand why if you don't already have a series mod, you might find it more convenient not to get one. (It didn't remotely occur to me, I'm still quite new to removable batteries!)
