just got a few questions on building coils and wicking. i am new to building coils and have finished building a few with some practice. (which are pretty decent)
my setup is a mutation x v3 with a smok xpro m80 plus.
i am mostly looking to produce more clouds with my dripper.
a few questions i have:
will more wraps on the coil reduce the ohms? or less wraps?
on a single or dual coil setup what wattage should i be vaping at?
also i am using kanthal 26AWG*32AWG (whatever that means) perfer my vape much warmer.
should the wicking on the coil be a bit loose or packed?
thanks in advanced. appreciate the help.

Wire thickness and the inside diameter of the coil as well as the number of wraps all affect the results.

Thicker wire has less resistance ,so you can have more wraps to achieve a specific ohm or less wraps with thinner wire.

Inside diameter is simple..the larger the drill bit you wrap on the more wire it takes to make one complete wrap so you require less wraps to achieve the same ohms.

Example...30g kanthal on a 2.4mm inside diameter wrapped 7 times will be x amount of ohms.
...The same 30g wire wrapped on a 3mm inside diameter will now require less wraps to achieve the same ohms.

Wicking shouldnt be too tight or too lose...you should feel some resistance but not a whole lot...With practice you will get the feel for it....Its more easily understood "feeling it" than it is describing it
