Built my rda yesterday but still burnt

I purchased this rda and did my first build on it yesterday. In the beginning it worked fine, its a .129 ohm build and I was running it at about 85 watts. As the day progressed though the flavor continued to get worse and a burnt flavor started to reveal itself, now if I take any hit longer than 1 second on 70 watts the flavor comes out burned. Any idea what I did wrong here?

I would love to try tc but I have no prior experience with it, this is my first non tank mod so most of this is new to me. Is there a resource where I could learn the ropes on what temp is so as compared to wattages?

You need it for tc. Google and do some research it's not hard and it makes dripping on rda alot easier to avoid dry hits. It basically means you set temp you like and mod only uses enough watts to achieve that temp thus avoiding burning wick. I personally and alot others use ss 316l. 316l will also work in Wattage so it is versatile.

Okay thanks for all the help:)

Sorry for the delayed update but just wanted to tell you that your advice worked flawlessly. I dry fired the coils and rewicked, ran it at about 60 watts with no issues. I slowly upped the wattage and am now running at 75 with no issues. Thanks for all the help, I will also look in tc and picking up some ss wire later this week!
