Hi everyone I'm brand new to the DiY side of the house. I am a Pecan junkie. I have a question regarding Butter Pecan flavor. I don't have the FW butter pecan but I do have butter and pecan flavors and was wondering if anyone has tried making butter pecan using other flavors?

I have some pecan flavoring flavoring and find it extremely buttery on its own. It is probably worth a try, but I'm not sure what you want to add is more butter flavor.

My non-vaping experience with butter pecan flavor is mainly from butter pecan ice cream. It might be interesting to add a little bit of vanilla to your pecan flavor and see if the combination strikes you as "butter pecan"? You might also try a tiny bit of sweet cream/vienna cream.

I'll be interested to see whatever you decide to do & how it comes out--good luck!

I was wondering if I could add something to my pecan to "sweeten" it up like the MBV Butter Pecan juice I have. My goal is to clone it because it is super yummy

I would try the suggested above...alot of flavors including some mentioned above are quite sweet..Actually VG by itself is sweet.

If this is missing the point of what you're doing just ignore it, but in case you didn't know, MBV Butter Pecan e-liquid is almost definitely a simple 15% mix of FW Butter Pecan. So if your goal is to have something just like the MBV version, that is the way to go.

What brand of "butter" flavoring do you have? I have Capella and used it once and stopped. There's oil in it, not really safe for vaping. I used a glass dropper to drip it into my mix and it left a greasy residue in the dropper. I tossed the mix. Please check yours this way if you can, it is NEVER safe to vape oil. If your butter pecan flavoring isn't "buttery" tasting, a small percentage of FA walnut might help "butter it up."

@lirruping that is exactly what I'm shooting for but I don't have the FW Butter Pecan flavor and wanted to try and make it using what I have. The wife will not like me ordering "another" flavor LoL. But if not I'll do what I have to LoL. I got my butter flavor at Kroger and it doesn't have any oil in it.

I sometimes use .5% FA Coconut for a buttery effect.
Small amounts of Cream might work too.

I use FW Butter Pecan at 11% and it's great...

If / when you order the Butter Pecan, grab some FW Hazelnut too as it's also the bomb IMO.
