I just dropped my mod and it hit the concrete and now my button lock is jammed. I can't get it to unscrew anymore. Does anyone have an idea of how I can fix it? Please help. As far as I can tell, the chip right where it screws might be what is causing this, but i've tried and I can't get it to budge.IMG_20141223_134817.jpg

Something similar happened to me once also, different mod though. Can you unscrew the bottom screw from the inside ?

I took the button out and tried that, but I still can't seem to get it to move. I took a knife and tried to kind of move the chip that looked like it was blocking it, but that still didn't seem to help anything.

I can't think of much off hand but I would probably put it on a vise and muscle it off lol. But that's just me. I remember seeing on ecf someone with a stuck button using a blow dryer to heat it up but they didn't have the chip like yours.

Yeah i tried using some pliers, but it just left groves in it, so i stopped trying that immediately. I'm worried that if i put it in a vise, it will bend the whole thing. I'm not sure how much pressure it can support.

this happened to me to, I didn't drop it but my safety got stuck, i took the end off and cut a rubber bracelet into small pieces, used the small rubber pieces to shield the metal as I shocked it with a few whapps from some channel-locks.

I fixed it. I just took the button out and put some cloth on the lock and used some pliers to unscrew it. Thanks for all of the help guys.

always use a rag or cloth under your pliers

this is going to sound funny but also putting it in the freezer can sometimes help. I have a kayfun that the tank sections never want to come apart and even with vapebands/cloth I don't want to damage it with pliers so I stick it in the freezer for half in hour and let it get cold and the metal condense a bit and then I can usually take two vape bands and torque it apart
