No advice Yam... I don't use regulated mods.
There's about to be a new SX Mini V2 called the ML class. If you can wait just a little bit, it will have a newer chip with temp control for stainless steel coils as well as Ni & Ti. If you can't wait, then the SX Mini is still the better mod. It's upgradeable so the SX might get a firmware upgrade anyway. That said, the D2 is not the same quality as the SX, but it's a very good mod... and one quarter the price. If you don't have a problem dropping $200 on a mod, the SX Mini is the way to go. If you get the D2, you can always upgrade to the next version in a few months and you will still only spend half of what the SX cost.
Was finding a lot of stuff that was either in the wrong place, or had no answers yet. Just tryin' to help folks out with stuff I may not be familiar withMan... you are on a real mean streak with the sub-forum re-locations.

In all honesty I would normally say Scmini HANDS DOWN! nothing out there fires like it does. But, like Caroline said they have a new one on the horizon, so a little patience (tough I know) and you'll probably be able to get an mclass cheaper or the new ML class. I've also read rumors of a G class being released along side the ml, it'll basically be a dual series ml class mod.
So if it were me and u had to have a new mod, I would do the ipvD2 and sit tight for the ml class, or wait altogether....
