Call for help from all of you expert forum users

This is the first forum I have ever joined. Outside of a Google search directing me, I have never tried to navigate through all of the content on a forum before. My username depicts my level of expertise on this here VU forum.

I have gone to the HELP!!!! forums (obviously) and haven't come up with a fool level "how to use VU Forums, you dumbass" thread.

So here's what I have done so far:
1. Randomly clickity fucking click around until I stumble on something I find interesting or can possibly add something to. Click on the "New Posts" link over and over throughout the day. I have watched some threads, however that doesn't seem to have done anything other than add them to some list of things I've watched...

2. Installed TapTalk on my phone. It has a feed of sorts which I kind of like, however I don't know if it's made up of trending discussions, or things that it thinks I like, or what. However....stupid dumb fucking asshole thing stop pushing worthless notifications all damn day to my shitty phone!

3. Still have VERY much enjoyed reading through the forum and interacting with folks that in the past I would have just stolen knowledge from and been on my way.

The only internet thing I've ever gotten the hang of is Reddit, and that's only lurking around. I don't want VU to be Reddit, I'd go to Reddit if I wanted Reddit. People aren't nearly as helpful there anymore and it seems to be plagued by folks that have all just gotten their naughty bits insulted and need to take it out on other folks via the interweb. That being said, is there anyway for me to create a "front page" type of feed here? Where I just put in what I'm interested in and when new threads and posts are made they simply populate all on one page?

If y'all have any tips and tricks that you use to navigate this madness you're willing to share, I will still be a fool, but a happy one!

I am just a vape dork who can't manage to use the forum on a cell phone, so I'm no help there.

BUT!!! You did manage to start a thread all by yourself, so you are off to a roaring start. Not sure I'm supposed to post here, NOT being an expert at anything but sleeping and eating. Even then, I still need mommy's help, so like I said, you are doing pretty good.

Thanks Lucy! I don't have trouble starting threads, I just can't weave through all of the other threads in any kind of organized way. Like I said I just clickity click around. Looks like that may be the best bet though.

Phone browsing sucks butt...it's taking me forever to fight my stupid thumbs to click the correct letters to type this. Eating is super easy, sleeping is hard, but we'll be experts at this eventual...or not...meh Keep Vape Dork Strong!

From a computer, I frequently click on "New Posts" at the top. From Tapatalk, I frequently cruise "Timeline".

I'm subscribed to a lot of sub-forums, just for ease of use, at times. I'm a DIYer, so I subscribe to that one, Hardware - to see what little treasures people might be selling, Non-vaping related - for the blowing off steam social aspects.... lots of fun areas here. TONS of great people, too.

For when I'm feeling in a particularly foul mood, I read the U Mad Bro areas to see what kind of trouble might be stirring. All for fun LOL

Tapatalk can be a REAL PITA much of the time. Maybe check it for an update or use the browser on your phone. Tapatalk can be your best friend, or it's evil nightmare.

Got it! I typed in the search for the subs you recommended instead of scrolling and was able to select them. Still crashed after each one but I got em!!
