Can I leave the dropper tops off the favors and just the caps to seal the bottles?

Since I am not using drops, do I need to put the dropper tops back on the flavor bottles? Will the screw caps seal them? They are a pain to remove every time.

I think they'll leak if they're on their sides, but if they're up right they might be ok?

I wouldnt.. due to either spills, like Amanada said..
if you dont make sure the dropper and cap is on, evaporation and contaminants.. <if possible..

I rather think that as long as they are upright you are good.

The top cap and bottle should make the seal. Depending on the quality and match you'll get a better seal.
The dropper tip is a measuring function, not a sealing function, though it might help with a poorly matched top cap and bottle.
At least that is my understanding.

I will continue to replace the dropper tops. I did spill some FA pineapple on the counter. Not pleasant.
