Can juice get scorched?

I'm using a Nautilus tank (which I love by the way) on a 134 mini. It started hitting dry and tasted burnt. I changed my coil and cleaned my mod. Still burnt. I put the tank on my SVD. Still burnt! Can a spent coil scorch the juice in my tank, or is there something else that needs attention that I'm not doing?

yes donna, juice can get scorched. I had that problem with my custard flavored juices when i would run the wattage to high. Also, when you take a toot from a dry wick, that burnt taste can stick in your taste buds for a day or longer.

Thank you! Hopefully a good overnight soak in vodka will take care of the problem and I'll just be wasting a tank full of juice. I'd hate to have to toss 30 ml of my favorite recipe.

Donna, chances are that your juice is fine and it was/is just your head. Not sure how you could have scorched 30 ml at one time. Even when vaping on a coil that is seriously grunged up to the point where ever hit tastes burnt and nasty you can usually transfer the juice to the bottle or holding cup of some sort until you can replace/clean/rebuild your head and put it back. Generally when a head is bad enough it can screw up the whole tanks worth of juice but when that happens you can usually tell cause the juice itself gets really card in color as well. That being said, I have had times where the juice got dark and it was still not all that bad regarding taste.

Thank you! I just meant I was glad it was just the juice in the tank and not that the whole 30 ml I'd made was bad.
