After dominating the box office two weekends in a row, Captain America: Civil War has reached $1 billion in worldwide sales.
According to Variety, Disney's latest Marvel flick now stands as the 25th movie to hit the milestone, reaching $314 million on Thursday (its 14th day of release in the United States) and $667 million on its 23rd day internationally.
Additionally, Disney has confirmed that Civil War is now its top-grossing movie of the year, standing alongside The Avengers, Iron Man 3 and Age of Ultron as the fourth MCU movie to surpass $1 billion globally, and the 10th Disney film to reach the milestone.
