Just got Cap root beer in and looking to make a good root beer vape. From what I have read start at about 8 to 10% for a good vape. That is were I will start and work my way into a recipe just want to know if anyone had any other advice on this one before I start.... ice cream, vanilla, sweet cream...... ideas? Looking for a smooth root beer.

I'll be interested to learn how this works out.

From my experiences putting homebrew in kegs that once contained soda, I've shied away from using any root beer flavors.

I'll make sure to post back with what I find out.... with all the people on this forum and all the great recipes I'm surprised no one seems to have played around with Root Beer.

I blame @VaporJoe for ruining all rootbeer flavored anything including rootbeer.
Now it all tastes like funky toothpaste to me.

Did you search for Rootbeer ? Seems like the people rave about Tasty Puff's Rasta Rootbeer.

Just started experimenting with CAP root beer last week.

%10 root beer with 2% FA vienna cream and 2% FA Vanilla Madagascar made a terrific shake and vape that tasted like a good root beer float.

Test tasted it yesterday and the root beer was a little too strong after a week's steeping

I cut the old test sample in half and will test it later tonight to see if it balanced back to the taste when fresh

I'm hoping somebody else that has had success with it chimes in with some real info - I couldn't find squat

A few thumbs up or down on it as a flavor, but no real useful info for a solid recipe or recommended percentage, nada

The Root Beer flavors seem to be a bit strong for me too.
But I've only tried Tasty Puff Rasta Root Beer & TFA Root Beer Float.
Both are good but the "float" part of the TFA is missing so it needs some help...

Is there a US supplier for this Tasty Puffs?

Or has anyone tried the root beer from Real Flavors?

I havent but Ive read a few others were ok ..... another rootbeer that was pretty good was the LA rootbeer if I remember right but I think I stopped using it because of the food coloring but may as well try it just to say you did lol

Maybe will call them later in the week - they are calling shipping to Alaska international, so I thought they were overseas

Just working on this flavor for my cousin, so it is only medium priority for me
Don't quit on me yet:) Just mixed up a test batch of 50ml zero nic to start playing with this week.... I'll post back.

Ok, mixed at 7% and left a week then hit it.... I can taste it but root beer is week. Thinking of upping it to 8% or adding a sweetener and a touch of vanilla swirl.
