What percentage would you use as a stand alone flavor? steep time?
That is an ok way of putting it and you are right.A lot of what is going on with steeping is oxidization. I do not steep any much anymore, only my ADV and thats because I make it a gallon at a time so Im not constantly making juice. I am not much of a believer that any steeping changes the way a flavor taste at all other than some flavors relax after they are mixed and become a bit smoother.Supposed Seed steeping to me is like putting fresh milk into a container of almost spoiled and only promotes the e-Liquid to degrade sooner. Just my opinion from testing this stupid theory.
That sounds delicious!I used to have a vanilla jar to and anytime this comes up I always talk about my vanilla jar and say Im going to make another one but I havent. Anyway what I would do is when I got down to about 10 ml left in my bottles of any vanilla flavor I had I would pour it into my vanilla jar and didnt touch it for awhile. That was some good juice, I would vape some for a couple days once the bottle got full and just kept that cycle of pouring my bottom of the bottle vanilla flavors in this glass bottle and vaping it for a few days once it was full. I did that for about a year before I stopped doing it, .... I really need to do that again
Im not sure why you say its a stupid theory
I didnt really say you directed that at me I just was wondering why you thought it was a stupid theory. As I said it was my opinion and based on first hand experience with testing, using it and I had a Tobacco DIY spoil from not using a fresh bottle. I never said it was your theory I was actually referring to asshole Self Proclaimed DIY Gurus from another forum. I do not see why you think it directed towards you but it the drip tip fits...............

I’ve done this over the years and still do.So if you are trying to get that steeped taste then adding fresh to already steep speeds up that process.
I went with 7 percent. Probably break down and try in two weeks.
That’s trueIf you don't sample some now, how can you determine if any changes to the juice incurred during 2 weeks?
i'd probably think it tastes good and vape it up
If there was a dislike button on here I’d hit it for your commentYou quoted me and decided you needed to post 2 paragraphs defending Seed Steeping. By the way, I do not Steep my e-Liquids I only steep Tea. I forgot to mention that I only infuse and age e-Liquids. Since you do not even bother to label your e-Liquids I guess you get defensive.

Exactly as i expected - thanks for making me smileNo, there isn't and I have no idea who you are and could care less but there is this just for you~!
Why must you stick your nose in where it doesn't belong? Someone quotes me I take that as directed at me so this is directed right back at you.
Exactly as i expected - thanks for making me smile
That’s a great idea - I’m going to try the tfa stand alone. I have a lot of it for some reason and not too many recipes that call for it. What percentage would you suggest?Lol
I can't vape capella v1 custard solo for very long. It's almost too rich with flavor. I found TFAs much more pleasant by itself. It's a little more mellow but still delicious.
I went off the median on ELR, 8%. I mixed most of the popular custards recently to compare them. That’s a great idea - I’m going to try the tfa stand alone. I have a lot of it for some reason and not too many recipes that call for it. What percentage would you suggest?

I used to have a jar too, actually a 60 ml wide mouth glass bottle. I was always curious how much the residual eliquid in an empty bottle would add up to over time, so whenever I would finish a bottle of eliquid, I'd stand it upside down in the mouth of that jar and let the remains drip out. Everything went in there from fruits to tobaccos to custards and everything in between. When it was about half full I vaped it. It wasn't awful, but it was really really weird. Curiosity satisfied I tossed the bottle out. Wish I had it now, though I think my tastes have gotten pretty boring. Vanilla Custard and RY4 are my main vapes, I'm sure the residual drippings would be delicious.I used to have a vanilla jar to and anytime this comes up I always talk about my vanilla jar and say Im going to make another one but I havent. 7% is just fine in my books. Thanks for reporting back! You inspired me to try it standalone
a lot of people say steep 2-4 weeks but I had nothing to vape and this is good to go at 1 week. I'd imagine it would get "thicker and richer" with time but it's not too thin I like it! Why'd I wait so long to try this simple delicacy. Luckily I bought a 60ml of this flavoring
Thanks! Will probably mix it tomorrow.7% is just fine in my books.

you will need sweetner to make it pop and it will be good at about 10 percentHonestly, and I mean no disrespect to anybody, but I don't think I could vape vanilla custard standalone. Maybe at around 2-3%.

Thats ok man. We are all different. Im sick of custards too. I just made something great champagne white grape forest fruit came out amazing.I don't know Josh. I can't stand the smell of it. Game over custard only uses 6% and it almost gags me when I'm mixing. Once it's mixed and stirred it's fine but just pure vanilla custard, I honestly don't think I could handle it. Caps cake batter is the same way. Just my screwed up sense of smell I guess.
