The time-traveling superhero ensemble from The CW's Legends of Tomorrow flew into WonderCon. They probably didn't use the Waverider for this mission. Damian Holbrook hosted the panel featuring executive producer Marc Guggenheim and cast members Ciara Renee (Kendra/Hawkgirl), Brandon Routh (Ray/Atom), Caity Lotz (Sara/White Canary), and Franz Drameh (Jax/Firestorm). Before the panelists fielded questions about the future (and past -- it is a time traveling show), they shared this sizzle reel:

Guggenheim said working on the series has been a joy. He found the concept appealing because no one has done a superhero ensemble like this on television before and because it makes his inner 10-year-old self really happy. He chose Vandal Savage as the villain because the character's been one of his favorites since childhood. He said, "There was an issue of Flash from Volume 1 where Vandal is punching The Flash and kicking the Green Lantern, and that was one of the first comic books I owned. It made an incredible impression on me."
