Gwendoline Christie recently addressed the unfavorable predicament Captain Phasma appears to find herself in at the conclusion of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and spoke to how she might have escaped.
"If I could be precise about this, I don't think we actually saw me inside the trash compactor," Christie told Good Morning America. "That scene didn't exist. What we saw was the threat of that. So aren't you just on tender hooks now to think about why I'm here," she added, to the laughter of her fellow cast members.
