Castigador problem

Hey VU maybe you can help seeing as people on ECF are too cool to do so. My castigador top contact came apart. It is apparently held together with an adhesive. Ive contacted EVE about what I could use to put them back together but they have not replied back. I have found some electrode adhesive called Tensive and was wondering if that would be a candidate. Any help would be awesome.

Mine isnt held in by adhesive, is your a clone? Where did you buy it from? The top connect should be a part of the 510 nut...Watch Convicted Vapes video on it, he takes it down fully and reassembles it so you can see it.

Bought it from Vapes by Enushi. It is authentic. The part I'm talking about is when you take it apart and there is a plastic piece on the top of the white delrin sitting in a groove. Right in the middle next to the firing switch. Thanks for replying

Do you have a pic of what your trying to explain?
If the contact popped out of it you should be able to slide it back in, there are very small and fine rails it slides under..

Figured out what they use to keep those pieces together. Double sided tissue tape. Will go get some and fix it. Thanks for helping guys. Hopefully this will help someone.

I can see why your not getting what Im saying, Im not seeing a small drop on either side for sliding it in....That may be a defective peice then. If I were you I would contact your place of purchase for a replacement or MCV, or I would buy some Epoxy and fix it myself...just make sure to lightly sand the delrin before bonding them for a better bonding surface.

@rocawear6fd has my Castigador, I cannot provide pics right now....
I would recommend Loctites Epoxy, it seriously can bond any surface to another and it doesnt expand or shrink when its curing, just a tiny dab in each corner and one in the middle should be good just clamp it down or put something like a book on top to make it secured.

No. Blue Loctite is a thread locker, not an adhesive, per se. I'd use either a quality cryanocrylate adhesive (aka: "crazy glue" or "super glue") or Gorilla Glue. I've used Gorilla Glue on a number of things and not had it fail yet. Gorilla claims it will glue anything to anything.

WARNING: Gorilla Glue expands like crazy! Clamp well and wipe off excess glue with a damp cloth or heavy-duty paper towel promptly. You have to watch what you glued closely for about an hour or so, until the glue stops expanding. Use sparingly. A little goes a long way.

awesome thank you vujim. will go pick up some gorilla glue now. will it give off any odors or gases when it heats up? thanks for the help guys. won't be frequenting ECF much anymore. Glad you guys are willing to help instead of just saying, "Bump good luck."

Gorilla glue doesnt have much of a smell that I can remember but that shit reminds me of pine needle goo, sticky and doesnt come off once on but Gorilla Glue starts to foam up and expand like crazy when curing....A dab the size of a tac will grow to over half dollar size.

Fixed good as new. Well as far as it being in one piece. I used loctite super glue. Thank you everybody for the help. Couldn't have done it without you. Just for the help tonight I'm gonna donate 25 to VU. Thanks again guys
