Thanks, it doesn't really seem like it's been that long, and yet sometimes it does. The 90s-2000s are kind of a blur at this point .

The 2000’s are a bit blurry for me too, for some things. It feels like things really speeded up.

I still remember my daughter and I going to the local B&M and getting one of those little ego pens. Think it was $60 HA HA

It was wayyyyy worse for me.
I knew nothing, but managed to find totallywicked.
I got the $60 Titan kit sort like in the photo below.
After that I moved to the ego / CE4 kit.
I found two of them on eBay for $16 each



Finally, I found Joe's blog which led me to fasttech where I got my first mod.

I remember those "dual ego kit" things that were $60 back in the day
Totallywicked had those too.
