Cheap but good small mod

Hey everyone. I'm vaping for about 2 year. I've started with a kangertech top tank mini combo... It was running well and now it covered with scratch and the battery door doesn't stay in place... I also get an alien 220w and I have a baby beast and limitless rdta plus atomizer... But running that only using my alien... I would like to have a new mod to use with my baby beast.

I would like to have something with a good battery capacity (doesn't bother me if it internal).

The best mod Will be something that is Small and still get a good battery. I'm vaping around 40 to 75 watt

I stick Pico is 75 watts.. $26.99 at Vape NW.... used them many times and bought mine from there.. hope that helps..
Battery life is going to SUCK at 40 plus watts.... the mega or 100 watt be more suitable to vape style... at 40 watts or more I start looking at 26650 or multi battery mods.

If you are going to be running the Baby Beast on it, then I would recommend a dual battery mod. You are going to want the extra battery for the extended life. I would suggest either the Wismec RX 2/3 or the Smoant Battlestar. The beauty of the 2/3 is that you can use it in both 2 and 3 battery modes, depending on which works best for you. The Battlestar isn't as advanced, but it is rock solid at doing the basic things and doing them very well (power mode, TC, etc.), and is the same size/form factor as the RX 2/3 in dual battery mode.

Yeah it could be a good one but I would prefer something smaller than that... And I must admit that I don't really love the look of wismec mod...

And what about the eleaf istick pico mega? Yeah it a single battery mod but we can put a single 26650 in it..

A lot of people really like it, I don't have one and have never used one. I'm personally just not a fan of the iStick products. I tried to like them in the beginning, but they were just mass produced cheap junk back then. It's been a couple years, and they are still around, so I hope they have gotten better. I hope you find the perfect mod for your needs!

im pretty sure it uses a 26650 battery and has an adapter tube to run 18650..At least one of those small eleaf pico mods do..A guy at work has one using a 26650 with it.

Be careful pairing smok tanks with the wismec 510s. I've heard from numerous users that the short 510 doesn't like the pin length on the smok tanks.

Good point! I forgot about that. I actually have plastic spacers for a couple of my tanks for that reason. I like the chipset so much though that it's not a big deal to me. The easiest way to determine if you need a spacer is to thread the tank onto the mod until it's snug, don't force it any tighter otherwise you can permanently damage the mod. If there is still a gap between the tank and the mod, cut a spacer out of an old credit card. HTH!

What is the smaller (height wise) dual 18659 we can find?

The P4U IPV 6X is pretty small, but heavy. Not a great TC performer though. I still like my Eleaf Ipower 80 for an internal battery device. Small and has great battery life. Could run the BB all day no problem.

the P4u IPV 6x is taller than the alien 220w by 4mm... it not much more but i would prefer something smaller

what about a smok al85?
yeah it on my preferred list. I really considered it ... same for the eleaf pico mega... the pico is a little taller but it can handle an 26650 so it got a big point on it

how about the ipv d3
ts about 26 at 101vape.com
I would skip the IPV D3, it was a great mod in it's day for the money, but it is not upgradeable and is now very dated. On top of that, the build quality isn't the best (not horrible though), I loved mine when it was fresh on the market, but now it's dead and gone. There are much better mods out there for just a little more $$.

Not sure if you use tc or not, if a 26650 mod is something you're considering maybe a hohm slice.

I didn't do TC at all...Just plain power mod between 50 watt and 75 watt

Yeah it the shortest dual 18650 mod that I've seen to date... 75mm that really short

And it cheap!

Thanks for the recommendation

I've go to a vape store tonight to buy some juice and I take the time to talk with the vendor... and now I'm convinced that I should go over a good dual 18650 mod... but I still don't know wich one... Like I say I do not love the wismec shape... and the only one that still remain in my mind is the Sigelei Fuchai 213W PLUS TC Mod - Orange. any recomendation (please no alien I alerdy got one and it enough)

The Wismec Predator 228 will be out soon, and it will be under $40.00. Getting some good reviews. Also looking forward to the Sigelei Kaos Spectrum 230, no published price as of yet. You can see them both on youtube, or vapenw.com under pre-orders.

The pico duel is 200w has room for larger tank and is the smallest 2 batt unit with all the functions. Some eleaf products have really came a long ways on quality and for the money you just cant beat them.

Opinion yet on the eLeaf qc200 lipo? 5000 mah but 3 in series. So unless all 3 are 5000 mah, 1666 might be more accurate, and pretty wimpy for the intended purpose?

I am awaiting a Battlestar and took a chance on an Innokin CF 100tc, 3300 mah I think. Hope it holds up, but I like the form factor, and found one for just over $40. Grab and go for BB, Cleito, Herk +, etc.

I remember Deucesjack had one that didnt last long.

When buying lipo, how to know what's really under the hood?

For dual 18650's, I would recommend the IPV8. I think that is a fantastic mod, and a similar size to the SMOK Alien, but seems to be a lot more consistent in performance from person to person.
The door on the Alien is better though, and if you use it in just power mode, is great.
For TC though, I cant recommend it- mine works fine, but I know too many people who it just doesn't work for, and these are TC nuts who own many mods.

As you vape around 40W though, a single 18650 mod like the Istick Pico is tiny- it is so small I was surprised at its performance. The Pico dual is nice, but due to its shape it feels bigger to me than the IPV8 or the Alien- it is shorter, but as the screen and 510 connection is in front of where the batteries go, the IPV8 and Alien feel smaller in hand.

No idea on the Eleaf. I do have the innokin coolfire IV 100tc and it's a solid as hell mod. Good choice for sure.

Not to sure about the lipos I'm not very familiar with them

what the max tank size we could fit on a pico dual
In the photos I have seen of the Pico Dual with a Melo 3 tank, it comes right to the edge, and it's 22mm. I think any tank addy larger than that will hang over.

On pico duel it shows up to 25, regular pico fits 22 but 23 works without overhang
