Cheap mod...

Sorry if this isn't in the right section.

I'm currently using an mvp 20w with a kangertech aero tank 2. I'm using a 65% vg which apparently is about all it can handle. I'm thinking of getting a second mod, but I want something that can handle a 100% vg liquid.

What would be the best option for me. I don't rebuild coils or anything so would want to be able to go to my local shop or online for replacement coils etc.

I want to keep costs at an absolute minimum as my wife will more than likely say no to it lol. Could I transfer my current tank over too?

Thanks for the help

The time may have come young grasshopper to think about RBAs.

They are really not that hard to build and you will save a lot of $$ by not having to purchase heads.

I'm curious as to why max-VG is important to you - do you have a PG sensitivity, or do you suspect that you might have one?

The reason I ask - if you want VG because you've heard that's what you need for bigger clouds, the device plays a role in the cloud area as well, and you're just not going to get huge results out of an Aero, or any other standard clearo for that matter. To get the kind of flow you'd need to run max-VG you're probably looking at one of the sub-tanks, though your MVP won't fire most of those...

Sorry I didn't mention, I do want the huge clouds. It's more of a mental thing fore as I have always taken long drags from cigs and do with my e cig.

What would be the best mod or kit for me whilst keeping the costs down?

Try a Kanger Kbox, a pair of Samsung 25R batteries, Efest LUC charger, and a subtank and pack of coils of your choice - under $100 out the door.

I am really liking my iStick and i just have the 30w, they make higher 50w units. I had a Smoke box modded to 65w and it had nothing but issues. iStick with Kanger Subtank running the rba coil has been working great for me. I can get long deep draws and large cloud .

I used to recommend iSticks quite a bit...then the reports of random battery meltdowns started coming in. And the 50 I've got seems to have a problem with cutting out and then starting to fire again mid-draw on my Subtank and Arctic, only vaping at 25-35 watts...

Being the compete noob that I am lol can you explain to me what sub tank and coils are best? I'm guessing I can google the rest :)

Maybe a 100 watt or 150 watt Sigeili A dark Horse RDA and any one of the new sub ohm tanks out there. You'll get clouds with that stuff and it's all proven reliable. Just my opinion.

Here's my big "clouds for noobs" post - lots of good info there, but in the post about toppers there's a link to the Subtank Wars thread, which is good for figuring out which one you might prefer best...I have a Subtank and an Arctic - I like them both but I've heard good things about a lot of others as well.

Istick 50w with the Matrix sub tank.

No leaking. Its got .6 and .2 Ohm coils, no biulding your own coils. Blows nice clouds and has good flavor...

Matrix $30and the istick is around $50
