Christopher Nolan is remastering his past films - such as the Dark Knight trilogy - in 4K.
In an interview with BadTaste.It, which you can view here, Nolan revealed he's personally involved in the 4K remastering process of his films.
The filmmaker is excited about the remasters particularly because, according to Nolan, 4K is currently the best way to get the home video audience closer to the 6K resolution his films were shot on.
"So as home video formats keep evolving, 4K — particularly 4K with HDR, it allows us to give somebody at home an experience that’s much much closer to what it was like to see the original film prints as projected on film," said Nolan.
