Ok so im not new to vaping but Im new to clapton coils.i am currently using a cuboid with a indestructable rda with clapton coils26/32 at 4 wraps reading .35. My question is what would be a build to get better clouds with the clapton coil i am using. Any suggestions. Need help understanding claptons better

nothing wrong with that build. If you wanted more vapor, then you need more metal (aka more wraps) and more wattage

It seems to get too high in ohms for me. I wanted like 6 wraps or so but it was like a .8 and its not style.

I have read that a lot of people don't see much advantage from single core claptons. They say fused claptons are much better. I'm only passing along what I have read and I haven't tried either myself. I have tried staggered claptons before but I think I used 2x28/30 kanthal and didn't like the residual heat or ramp up. I cant remember. Though I am looking forward to my recent purchase of 3x28/36 pre-made fused clapton strands.

For shits and giggles you could try a parallel build though just be careful you aren't too low

Edit for auto correct

So from what you read fused claptons were better. And i believw you are right. I have 22 gauge kanthal and im getting almost the exact same vapor production with the claptons. Only benifit i notice is i use less coil for similar ohm and it has less of a ramp up time. Maybe i should look into fused claptons. All im trying to do is gett larger clouds. Hahah its a bitch. Ive been getting better and better at making bigger cloud builds but ive been stuck and cant seem to progress after i started uaing the 22 guage

I agree with SirRichard and yes more metal requires higher wattage.
In addition the more complex a clapton is the better flavor it will provide.
Fused/twisted/staggered/staple cores will provide better flavor then a single core, thinner wrap wire is better then thicker wrap wire.
The resistance of the coil(s) is the least important variable in the flavor equation.

You can run anything that will fit into the rda holes but you have to be careful it's not too much for your battery. Though with the wire you have in dual parallel I'm guessing you will have about .15 ohm. Might be ok if you don't push it hard. At 4.2 volts you are at 27 amp and 117 watts

Honestly i was thinking that. Idk can u run dual parallel?

if it fits and is not too ohmed too low or high to fire... You can run as much wire in whatever configuration you desire.

Really....more wire and more power do result in more vapor. How you get there is only limited by the size of the build deck of the atty and your mods output limitations.

Yeah i understand. If anyone can answer this one question. So if i wrap a parallel coil. I take two coils together. Now it will look like 2 wraps per wrap. Now does it count as 1 or 2 wraps. I think im over thinking and confusing myself

While you are wrapping it you will probably be wrapping 2 wires at the same time so 4 wraps will look like 8.

Ok so even though it looks like 8 wraps its only considered 4.i get it thank you
If you do that, it'll also be 3 coils so your resistance will be half of what it would be in a dual coil set up.

The other option is to just do 4 coils which would bring you down to a .17-.18 build

A parallel coil is like 2 coils with half the amount of wraps placed in parallel and has a quarter of the resistance then a single coil with the same amount of wraps.

2 wires or as many more as you want to use in parallel wraped around a single core, counts as a single finished wire. So 4 trips around a single core is 4 wraps.. regardless of the number of wires used. Electrically the parallel coil is the same as a multi coil build. Performance is different though.
