Clapton refer to a wire wrapped like a guitar wire. As in Eric Clapton.
Not sure what terms to which you are refering. I believe there is a Vaping dictionary In the stickies somewhere.

Fused Clapton is when you have two core wires with smaller gauge wire wrapped around it.
Staggered Fused Clapton (SFC) is when you have two wires that each have a spaced clapton wrap and then the are fused together.
Staple Staggered Fused Clapton (SSFC) is as above but with ribbon wire sandwiched by the core wires with spaced clapton wraps and then all wrapped together.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to explain… I would suggest watching build tutorials on YouTube for each coil you are curious about. Should make it pretty clear
