Anyone have any pointers on cleaning methods? How should tanks be cleaned? Should I soak the coil in water? Will it be ruined? What other chemicals can i clean them with..

Pointing to a eVic VT..

Tanks can be cleaned with hot water or soaked in Vodka and rinsed out afterwards. By coil, do you mean the coil head that screws into the base? You can rinse them with hot water or soak them in Vodka and rinse them with hot water and allow to dry. Coil heads generally last 2-3 weeks and after that they become too gunked up to clean and re-use.

Would rubbing alcohol be too dangerous?
& yeah i meant the coil head. My other coil didnt last me a week, it turns out i burnt it.
Never tasted the burnt scent..
Reason why I want to start cleaning it.

Rubbing alcohol is Isopropyl alcohol. It will leave a yucky taste behind, plus some rubbing alcohol has oil dissolved in it. Stay away from it.

Burning your coil comes from either too high of a setting, or not enough eliquid getting to the wicking material, or both. Are you using a High VG eliquid?

It doesnt show how much VG is in, as well checked the website.. How does that happen though when not enough liquid gets into the wick? Im pretty sure that might've what happend

It happens when you have the power turned up and are taking many toots with the airflow wide open in a short period of time. The wicking material can't soak up enough liquid fast enough. Close down the airflow on the mod to 1/2 and lower the power and temp. What settings are you using now?

If you're using the ego one mega tank that comes with the VT those setting should be fine. However, the holes are tiny and wicking is an issue, so if you're using high VG juice (80VG and up) that may be your issue. I was using 70VG with no issues, other than than it's hard to get a good juicy vape with those coils. I ended up mainly using my subtank for a better vape on the VT. Once the coils are burned they're no good, so no amount of cleaning will bring them back to life!

I used both that and the big one (I say used because my VT died, sadly!).

Does the bigger one just holds more juice?
And the kangertechs subs, they come with Kanthal Replacements.. Thats the one where you rebuild able cotton replacement and drip?

Yes the big one holds 7ml. And they come with both an RBA that you can rebuild and OCC coils.

Your nicotine level should depend on how much you smoked, and how long ago you quit. I smoked 3 packs a day, and I started at 24mg nic, but quickly shifted down to 18mg nic and then after a couple more months I went down to 12mg, and now I am at 9mg (6 is just a little too low for me). If you were a casual smoker, i.e. less than a pack a day, and just started vaping, then I would say try 12mg nic, if you smoked even less, then 6mg is probably okay for you.

As for cleaning your coils, stay away from Isopropyl alcohol, it is meant for external use only. If you live somewhere that you can by pure grain alcohol (commonly known as Everclear), it works well for cleaning the coils. I used to use it to clean mine, before I started building my own coils. Soak your coils in it overnight, then take them out and let them air dry for another day, then they should be good to go. This worked well for me, and I could get 3-4 weeks out of a coil, and 2-3 cleanings before I had to replace them. Conservatively, I could get at least 8-9 weeks out of my coils that way. Of course, different juices have different effects on coils and cleaning them, so YMMV.

I clean my ni 200 coils with a q tip first taking most of the cotton off. Then put in cheap vodka overnight. Rinse with warm water. Air dry. The q tip only works on larger coils unless you can find very small ones. For the tank itself just take apart and clean with water and dry.
