I believe it is a direct copy of a design. Nothing is different other than build quality and quality of the materials ya know.

Does anyone know what 1:1clone mean?

The label means it's not just a copy... but that all parts are fully interchangeable.

Don't expect all clone manufactures to adhere to that standard though.
For our purposes (rampant Chinese copying)... I'd set my sights a tad lower. :p

Caveat Emptor.
When in doubt, or if that level matters... read up on it first.

I've only ever seen that nomenclature applied to "version" sequences... never to hardware cloning.

Don't confuse "1.1" with "1:1" which literally translates to "one to one" (it's a ratio, not a sequence).

1:1 is pronounced "1 to 1", like models or scale on maps.
1:1 would also indicate that parts from one are compatible with the other, as others have said.
Generally, those clones tend to be the best in replicating the authentic.

But, not all clones are 1:1.
