I really don't know how trying to save someone a little time and trouble by imparting the very small amount of wisdom I've gained in the very short time I've been building is arrogant. Your opinion of every post I make is colored by the fact that I didn't want advice that you only gave because you missed important information that I shared. There are a lot of different methods and tools involved in building coils, at least from what I gather. I'm being criticized because I use nail clippers to cut my wire? Come on, bro. No, you're not quoting me when you say I started vaping a week ago, because I never said that. I said I started building a week ago. Building and vaping are not necessarily the same thing, unless you're trying to say that using a pen isn't really vaping and I have said more than once now that I started vaping at the end of last year, so unless the end of last year was a week ago, then I've been vaping for more than a week.

i've got a no name velocity clone and a velocity mini clone. the no name regular one is built better than the mini. it's metal is thicker and orings are nice. on the mini, the metal is noticeably thinner and the orings suck. it still functions well, but the fit of the top cap and air flow spinner is less than satisfactory. and the hex nuts do suck on these. not because they are soft, but because the allen key they give you with the atty is the wrong size. i use an allan key from my Craftsman tool kit and tightening the grub nuts is no problem.

with that said, all of my RDA's are clones and all have worked well. my two favorites in my collection are my Velocity clone and Haze Mini.

right now i have a 26ga 2.5mm 10wrap dual titanium build on it if i recall correctly. i just got some titanium wire a couple of weeks ago, and been messing with it. but so far, it's not my favorite. i've tried nickel too. i guess temp control isn't my thing, or i need to learn some better build techniques, cause thus far, i'm not impressed. before that i had some UD precoiled 26/32ga clapton wire 5/6 wrap in there that was pretty damn good. another one of my favorite builds for RDAs is a simple 4/5 wrap dual 26ga parallel

i've had one twisted build in it but i was getting a lot of spit back.

oh, i also close off the top air holes, and the bottom slots i like them about half closed. i get dense clouds with good flavor that way. makes a huge difference if you havent messed with that already
