Cloud chasing mod?

Hi, what's a good sub 100 dollar regulated box mod for cloud chasing? Does it really matter what box mod I get? Does the max wattage output of a mod matter when looking for a cloud chasing mod? Thanks.

its not so much the mod but more the type of juice you use the build you have sometimes the wicking material but a good mod that i have which i will hopefully be upgrading soon is the smok m80 plus its an 80watt box mod with mech mode wattage mode and an okay temp mode i feel not to sure havent tried it yet it can fire safely down to .1 ohm i actually found this out because i had 22g kanthal build and it was just at the .1 mark which was still scary for a second but i was just running in wattage mode to be safe firing at 65 to 70 watts
however things to look for in a good regulated mod are the fail safes that they have like short protection overheating new atomizer check a built in ohm meter(which are not 100% accurate) just to name a few
i do love the smok m80 its small enough to have in my pocket which i can also lock the atomizer to prevent accidental firing thus burning or blowing up your leg it has dual 18650s that not accessible to be changed which is kind of a draw back but its a lot safer that way i run it with a sapor addy runnning dual twisted 24g kanthal build with 5-6 wraps it .18 ohms with one vertical coil and one horizontal coil which i call the vertizontal coil it gives off a great cloud when heated up right and awesome flavor running mostly 70/30 vg/pg and up to max vg

but thats just me

I've found I'm a cloud chaser at heart, lol
That said, I prefer mods with at least 100w available and can fire down to .1 ohm
My favorite build blows good clouds seen here at 75w on my 150w IPV3..

So yes, the right mod /RDA with a good build is awesome cloud chasing, least it's that way with me..

I have a sigelei 150w with a Tobeco hellboy RDA. My coils is 5 wraps 24 gauge. I'm unsure of the size of the screw I use. But I wanna chase clouds! But I'm stuck, wasting money on coil. Any suggestions?

My build in above pics is 7 wraps of 24g Kanthel on a 3mm bit at .22 ohms.
The Dark Horse with the chuff cap is my favorite cloud blowin RDA to date..
Don't know about the hellboy, I've never owned one...

I twisted 24 ga and did 8wraps on a 3mm bit. Ohmed out to .36 and could handle 200 watts like a pro. Could try twisted 24 with 5-6 wraps and see where that gets you.

Here's twisted 24g, 3mm, 7 wraps. Ohms at .22 and blows plumes at 90w on my Sigelei 150tc. I can take it higher as well, but hits great on this Velocity clone. Super easy build, and I'm a noob.
