Cloupor mini problems?

Just wondering if anyone has picked up a Cloupor mini and had any issues with it. I grabbed mine from a local shop (without doing much research, tsk tsk..), pretty much walked in with my nautilus mini and ego and said I was looking for an upgrade. Left with the Cloupor mini and a quasar RDA, and been loving it so far, that was a few months ago. As I started to wise up a bit and check out reddit and other vaping forums, I've seen a lot of people having issues with them

Just looking to find out if any of you fine folks have had any bad experiences with the Cloupor mini, or any reasons that I should replace this mod asap?

There was a bad batch in beginning, there are issues reported with every mod. For me been running this since it came out and only issue I had was 510 that I inflicted. I have 3 recent temp control mods, but the mini gets lots of use. The size and feel are perfect fit for me. My 510 issue was when using kayfun's and would torque them down closing/opening juice channels. Solder and superglue while back and no issues since.

Mine lasted about a month..started firing on its own and then the famous "too hot" messages start to appear...still sitting in the drawer useless...i may find a cheap chip and replace it to get it working again...it was a great little mod when it worked...love how small the case is on it...very compact.

I guess I've just been lucky with mine, I've been loving it so far. Nice and small, fits my needs perfectly, runs great with my subtank. Sorry to hear about yours, bud. I got a warranty card with mine, any chance on them replacing it for you?

If you have a good one and it works, keep using it. Cloupor had a massive QA issue with those boxes.

I have two, both have worked flawlessly over the last few months. I've used almost nothing else in that time so they're getting a workout.

Just got one and have had it about 2 weeks now, no firing issues yet, and I love the little thing!! Fingers crossed it wasn't out of the bad batch.

No issues with mine either, works like a champ. I've never used the charge cord that came with it, always remove the battery and charge separately. But since I'm a little paranoid about all the problems others have had, I never leave a battery in it when I go to bed or if I leave the house and don't take it with me. ;)

Mine was working like a champ..never used the usb charge port as well...was at work and took a vape..set it down and heard the tank crackling on its own...about 3 seconds later saw a too hot message.

I removed the battery thinking it was a glitch and to maybe reset it...put the battery back in and heard a faint crackling..took a draw off the tank and got vapor without pressing the fire button..mind you it was very low power but auto firing none the less...Was a disappointment..i loved that little thing...it made me put the sigelei down and collect dust while it was working..lol

That sure sucks...:( .....not saying I'll never have trouble out of mine, but so far it seems to be doing well.

At first I really wanted one.

But I remembered my standard 90 day rule.

Never purchase something that has been on the market less than 90 days to find out what the vapers that have had them for that long had to say about them.

This has saved my ass many, many times and is why I did not purchase one.

And still won't!

had mine for a few months now and love it to death. really wish they would release this mod with TC. i. know they are releasing a dual cell mod with TC that looks just like the mini (only larger), but hopefully the make a single cell version soon.

i know there was a horrible rep when these first came out, but most of the feedback you see now is damn positive.

been thinking about sticking a TC chip in mine as well. there is another user here on VU that is currently installing a dna40 into a cloupor mini. buttons have to be replaced tho as they are attached to the chip itself. which sucks because the buttons are great IMO.

Absolutely love mine. Only had it about a month so hopefully it is a "new batch." I'm using it in the 18-22w range mostly so not a real workout.

The only problem I have had in 5 months is the inner plastic battery cover came loose - I just glued it back on. The black paint has worn off in places exposing the copper box underneath. Looks pretty ugly but I don't mind. I love the thing. Great size. My favorite.

First post! I've had mine for about 5 months now and it gets daily usage. Been great for me and its fantastic as conserving battery power as well. I too had the same concerns after hearin about the problem post order. I think they reccomend firing an atty for 10 sec and if it has a problem it will pop up at that point. I was told all devices coming out at that time were released with updated firmware fixing the problem so aside from old stock in a b&m, most devices purchased now should be fine.
