How exactly can I tell if my coil is getting gunked up it's brand new this past Thursday but I'm still new soo I don't think I gunked it up but I'd rather be able to know how to tell

Also does anyone know about fumi ejuice? Is it decent my first bottle was ruthless and I just got fumi cause I was in a rush and had to leave quickly

Usually the darker the coil is, the more build up is on it, haven't tried that juice

If the coil is in an RTA/RDA you just look at it to see if it's gunked, if it's in a replaceable head you can't.
All you need to know is that you need to replace a replaceable head either when it drops in performance or when it gives a burned taste.

A good giveaway of toasted coils is your juice is super dark in the atty compared to the jug since the coil is gunked and taking way more power to vaporize the juice thus transferring the extra heat into the juice, pour out remaining juice or it will contaminate the fresh stuff your putting in. After vaping for a while you will just know when your coil is degrading or your batts are loosing power in a mech.

I'm not sure if the eleaf pico mega would fall into that category

Pico Mega kit comes with a Melo III tank so replacable heads.
Replacing a head is pretty straight farward but if you can't figure out how to do it, check the user manual, check a youtube review of the tank that shows how it's done or go back to the store.

It's a little funky but I'm guessing it's still good? It tasted different after I switched it better but I wasn't getting a super burned taste

Do certain ejuice burn your throats more? This juice I have it kind of burns my throats which the other does not...and after about 5 puffs it just does a burnt taste but coil is perfectly fine...could it be the oil is burning due to the coil being to hot for that specific oil?

Does the juice burn your throat or is it harsh. If it burns then chances are the coil is getting too hot, your wicking can't keep up for the amount of juice it needs and your inhaling the heat then burning the coil. Back in the day throat burn is also caused by hot legs and/or a badly wrapped factory coil. Been rebuilding a few years now so no need for me to buy coils so I really don't know if their QC has improved. Some factory coil wicking is made pretty tight so you can poke with a pin to maybe loosen up some of the cotton to help juice flow, even with tweezers remove some cotton...cotton expands so tight to begin with just gets tighter when juiced. Gunked coil requires more heat to vaporize so again inhaling excessive heat. Your not letting the coil "Ramp up" meaning not heating up enough and your shocking your throat with juice mist from a cold vape. Vaping is a technique...you vape and inhale the way you did when you smoked cigs you will end up with a sore throat. Learn to hold the vape in your mouth then inhale slowly..its a far smoother vape.
If its harsh then could be the juice is 70pg 30vg like a lot of the chinese juices are Hangsens premixes are 70pg 30vg and I assume if the bottle doesn't say or cant find it then its 70pg30vg. If not then you could have a PG allergy and thats a whole new ballgame that I know nothing about.

Yea I don't know if it was harsness but yes it basically felt like it was burning my throats I went and got the oil I got when I purchased my mega also had the guy there double check my coil...with this oil it works perfectly fine I can actually to the wattage back up to 30 and not have a burning taste at all the other one I was on 25 and those few hits were good until 3-5 and it just kept getting that burning taste

@SirRichardRear informed me I shouldn't use a juice higher then 12mg in a sub ohm tank which I'm guessing my melo lll would be one? So it was either due to that or it was literally just the quality of juice since I don't have any problems with this one but I did get a 6mg

So if that might give you any extra insight I'd love to hear what you got to say as I want to learn

And thank you for helping me try to figure this out

hows the 6mg working for you?

It's doing good the first bottle I had on last Thursday was the same 6mg one I went and just got on lunch they are perfect and taste wonderful with no problems sooo like I said I feel as though it's either the 12mg in a sub ohm tank wich I'm guessing the melo lll is a sub ohm tank is that correct?

Or it was just the quality of the oil I feel my the fumi ejuice I got was not a more premium liquid that costs the same as the one I got today again my experience with the fumi ejuice definitely would have ruined my first vape experience if I had that one I probably never would of kept going...but thankfully the shop I bought my pico and my first juice they are always good and helpful and actually care about you getting the right products and inform you about them...even if I was uncomfortable changing my coil or adding more liquid or just anything I was able to go back and have them do it free sooo that's why I really really like that shop and happy it's here

The coil you have in your pic earlier is a vertical and with the kanger vertical coils known issue is they packed the wick too tight so your melo might be no different. Its real hard to tell from th epic what kind of wicking material the melo uses. If cotton I'd take a pair of tweezers in a brand new head and remove some of the wick then poke down through with a pin to loosen up the wick. If your getting a few vapes then burn't my best guess is choking wick from being too tight. YouTube melo3 wicking and maybe in there some better help can be found.

Sooo I've discovered something about the fummi ejuice...I don't think it's due to the eleaf just2 I'm pretty sure it's not...but having it at 20 it works just fine being 12mg I guess it was just burning to fast? Or is my coil just building up all the nicotine
