What's up peeps I got my velocity mini in today and loving it, same deck size but smaller cap. I realize that there's an infinite coil configurations to be done, so post em if you've got em! Thanks for the ideas 0901152247.jpg

Howdy Humans,
Running dual coil Claptons on both my Velocities. The stainless one is 26/32Ga six wraps (IIRC) around 2.5 mm coming in at .65 ohms. A little slow to ramp up but very nice.
The black one is 28/32Ga five wraps around 2.5mm reading .32 ohms. Great build, nice flavor, nice vapor.
Love these atties.

Nice, I have yet to mess with clapton wire,i too love it, so easy to build on

I made a little jig for wrapping Clapton wire. I didn't invent it, just cobbled my version of something I saw on the YouTube together, a piece of thick copper wire to go through a spool of 32Ga Kanthal that is held together with a cut plastic pipette. Wire goes alongside that and is trapped by another cut plastic pipette. It acts as a guide for the wire as you spin your straightened core wire in a drill. Easy peasy. Shit, I can do it. Anybody can.

Well, as it just so happens, I just made a twisted build for my Velocity (it's a Tobeco clone, can't afford Insignia's prices). Twisted 24 AGW Nichrome 80 with a 3mm ID, 6 wraps. Comes out right at 0.203 Ohms. I wanted to put it on my mech box, but the ohms were a too high. I was aiming for 0.1. I need a better ruler to use Steam Engine's twist pitch feature. Still, it vapes wonderfully on my Sigelei 150 watt at 90 watts. Goes through juice like a fiend though. Good thing White Label exists.

I think this is the only atty I could fit this build in. My El Cabron is technically larger, but the center post means I have to have the coils further from the center meaning that they would probably short on the topcap. Pics below:

As Grimmgreen would say, vapors are happening.

Between, "Post Reply," and, "More Options," there is a, "Upload Files," button.
So the thing comes up with "enter URL" do I just copy the title of my picture and stick it in the box? It doesn't have a "browse your library" feature that I've found

How's she vape?
Great flavor when you close it down, even better flavor with a 510 drip tip. Put the chuff on and open it up and it chucks pretty well. You won't win any competitions but you'll have fun. Lots of flavor even opened up. Love the tobeco clone so much I'll prolly buy two more. Haven't even built Ni200 for TC on it yet. Great build deck. Buy one for yourself Human!
