I can't figure out a decent cloud build for my Cherry Bomber parallel box. Currently running 26gauge quad twisted Kanthal. 7 wraps 2.5mm diameter at .28 ohms. On my regulated box I get decent clouds with the same build at 110w but can't get the same results on the mech. Using new Lg Hg2's just to eliminate the battery variable.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some build specs that have worked well for them?

I run 0.2 ohm SS fused Claptons, that is my sweet spot. With 4.2v I find less wire mass and SS to be the best.

I've never worked with SS. How many wraps do you typically use to hit .2?

To reach 110W max you would need a 0.16 build, for 110W nominal a 0.125 build.

With a 0.28 build you are pushing 63W max.

All calcs without accounting for voltage drops.

If you're going to use a mech you should learn ohm's law or at least get an ohm calculator.

i use an ohm calculator and have a limited working understanding of ohms law. My trouble is building for a mech. I'm used to building any coil and being able to adjust the watts to suit my needs. 110w is just what I currently set my regulated mod to for this coil.

Steam engine is your best friend.

Depends on gauge and di, use Steam-engine. I'm usually using 30x2/36 317L SS around 4 or 5 wraps

Edit: Correction
