Coil master kit v2

Just wondering if I can use the coil jig in the kit with Clapton wire to make could before I go and pick up some wire. Will it work just the same or can I only use it for regular wire?

I've been able to use it for Claptons; just have to be careful when you're winding it. Works just fine.

I use the UD Coiler Kit to Wind larger and wider coils, the UD coiler has a straight cut across the end for laying wire flat inside of it and then wrapping it around the bits. If you have the CM kit V2 then just use what you have, but if you dont have the kit then buy the tools needed piece by piece as the kits contents arent that great...
