Coil never lasts long

Hi, I have an iStick Pico. That's as far as my technical knowledge goes. I don't know what coil I have (I always just ask in the shop and show them my vape) but it only ever lasts for about 3 days. Then it starts tasting burnt on and off.
I prep it well, soaking the windows and dropping down the throat, slowly turning as I do, then let it sit in a full tank. I start at 25 W and slowly increase until 40 W where I stay. It's lovely for a short while but then gets shitty. I only draw for up to 3secs at a time.
Should I be buying a different type of coil? Is there anything I can do to stop this?

Very sweet juices will burn up coils very quickly. Might be part of your problem.

If this is not the case, you can either:
Turn down the wattage
Vape a higher PG juice
Not chain-vape to allow your cotton to wick
Or try a different coilhead with a higher wattage rating.

I read threads like this often, and I think you should listen to everyones advice,but you might consider you may just have a very highly developed palette.that you can taste alot more than most people...

Pulsevape is probably right about your pallette.
I found sticking with a lighter colored and less sweet juice helps with that. Darker sweeter juices will burn out a cool rather quickly.
Tobacco flavors are aslo notorious for that.

It's hard to recommend another coil without knowing what you are using also.

With what you said, I'll second dropping your power level, and trying a juice that is maybe lighter in color.

Also a possibility, and a big reason I use rebuildables and have never looked back to mass-produced coilheads.
