Coil Rebuilding

I've been building coils for awhile now but I'm wondering why my coils gunk up so quick on the Moonshot?

Also, what's the difference between a spaced coil and one that's pressed together? Is there a difference in taste or efficiency?

Gunk can depend on a lot of factors. Sweet or dark juices, amount of flavoring among others gunkup coils. Clear juices always make coils last longer. Yes different builds change flavor, vape different ect. I mainly squish coils (micro coils) to save room on a build. If wires are touching in only one spot it will cause a hot spot and you will not have equal heat through out the coil. Micro coil the whole coil will be same temperature and likely are easier for beginners to build and get it right. CHEERS!

Another thing I found that helps with the gunk is is you either buy a juice with menthol in it, or add some of a straight up menthol juice in the coils don't gunk up as fast.
