Generally is there a trick to getting a dryer vape? Higher ohm coils? Id like to see if I could build a set up that didn't produce such a warm wet vape.

The best way to adjust towards a more dry vape is to use more cotton and adjust your wicking. If you're using an rda, don't oversaturate. If you're using an rta, use a little more cotton. You want to slow down the wicking speed to achieve that dry vape style

Hotter coil more air flow. Not really higher or lower ohm thing. But yes a thinner wire might result in a hotter coil and be higher ohm. But then a warp or 2 less and lower ohm on a too warm wet build might result in drier hit. Issue is going to be removing the moisture with out getting too hot.

What your definition of a warm wet vape?
Because the definition may be a bit different for those vaping at 50 watts and above VA those lie me vaping at 25 watts or less. I like a semi tight lung draw.. a warm but dry vape... lots of flavor and a decent cloud. Current setup is 3x32 nichrome at .8ohm single coil center mounted in a Hobo 3 atty on a Reo clone. Call it 20 watts. It is a little wet and gets hot due to the where I have the coil mounted. If I were to side mount moving the coil away from the outlet and closer to the air inlet it would give drier. But I like the 2 air hole draw better than the single. I could also get drier by going to a dual coil build vs the single twisted build.
